Y/N woke up with a newfound sense of excitement coursing through her veins. After the unforgettable night she had spent with Gally, she couldn't shake off the lingering warmth in her heart. With a smile tugging at the corners of her lips, she made her way to breakfast, feeling as though the entire glade could see the happiness radiating from her.

As she settled down at the familiar spot next to Newt and Minho, her mind couldn't help but drift to the events of the previous night. Thoughts of Gally and their shared moments flooded her mind, causing her cheeks to flush with a rosy hue.

Lost in her thoughts, Y/N stole quick glances at Gally, who sat a few tables away with a group of other gladers. When their eyes met, Gally gave her a mischievous smirk and a playful wink, sending a jolt of electricity down Y/N's spine. She quickly averted her gaze, feeling her cheeks grow even warmer under Gally's knowing gaze.

However, Minho, ever the observant one, noticed Y/N's flushed cheeks and the way she seemed lost in her thoughts. With a sly grin, he leaned in closer to her and nudged her playfully. "What's up with you, Y/N? You're looking a little...distracted today," he teased, eyebrows raised suggestively.

Y/N's heart skipped a beat at Minho's teasing tone, but she managed to keep her composure, feigning nonchalance. "Oh, nothing much," she replied casually, trying to brush off Minho's inquiry. "Just had a good dream last night, that's all."

Minho raised an eyebrow, his playful demeanour only fueling Y/N's embarrassment. "Oh, a good dream, huh? Care to share what it was about?" he teased, winking suggestively.

Y/N's cheeks flushed with embarrassment, but she responded with a hint of sarcasm, "Oh, you know, just your average dream about flying unicorns and magical lands."

Minho chuckled at her response, raising an eyebrow, "Flying unicorns, huh? Sounds pretty juicy to me."

Y/N rolled her eyes playfully, retorting, "Yeah, well, maybe if you weren't so nosy, you'd have some cool dreams too. Now tell me, why are you still here? Shouldn't you be running in the maze or styling your hair or something?"

Minho burst into laughter, his infectious chuckles filling the air as he replied, "Touché, Y/N, touché. But seriously, it's new greenie day, and I want to be the first to lay eyes on them."

Y/N grinned playfully, teasing Minho, "Well, you better watch out. You might scare the poor greenie half to death if they see you first."

Minho feigned offence, placing a hand over his heart dramatically. "Me? Scare someone? Never!" he exclaimed, earning a laugh from both Y/N and Newt.

As breakfast concluded, the gladers dispersed to their respective duties. Y/N headed to the construction area, where Gally was already giving instructions to the builders. She joined the group, ready to tackle the day's tasks.

"Alright, listen up, you shanks! We've got to build a bonfire for tonight. Grab those logs over there, and let's get this done," Gally commanded, pointing towards a pile of heavy logs.

As the builders dispersed to gather the logs, Y/N joined the group, ready to contribute her strength to the task at hand. She hoisted a log onto her shoulder, balancing its weight with determination. Gally kept a watchful eye on her, subtly observing her every move as he pretended to focus on the overall progress.

Throughout the day, Gally found excuses to be near Y/N. He grumbled and scowled as he supervised the construction, but his eyes constantly sought her out. Y/N, oblivious to his lingering gaze, worked diligently alongside the other builders.

As the day wore on, Gally's internal struggle became apparent. He couldn't resist the pull any longer. Determined to be close to Y/N, he approached her, interrupting her work.
