Under the warm sun, the gladers toiled away, each one immersed in their assigned tasks. Y/N, with Eleanor by her side, moved with purpose through the bustling glade, her hand clasped firmly in the small child's grip.

"Alright, Eleanor," Y/N began, her voice gentle as she leaned down to meet the girl's eager gaze. "Let's learn about the different jobs here in the glade."

Eleanor's eyes widened with curiosity as she listened intently, her youthful enthusiasm matching Y/N's patient explanations.

"First, we have Clint and Jeff in the Medhut," Y/N continued, guiding Eleanor towards the small building nestled in the heart of the glade. "They take care of everyone when we get hurt or sick."

As they stepped into the Medhut, Y/N introduced Eleanor to the two healers, who greeted the child with warm smiles and gentle reassurance.

"Nice to meet you, Eleanor," Clint said kindly, his voice soothing as he knelt down to her level.

Jeff nodded in agreement, offering a gentle pat on the girl's shoulder. "Anytime you need help, just come find us, okay?"

Eleanor beamed up at them, her trust in their care evident in her bright eyes. With a final wave, Y/N led Eleanor back out into the sunlight, their next destination clear in her mind.

"Now, let's go see Newt," Y/N said, her voice filled with excitement as she led Eleanor towards the trackhoes. "He's the second in command after Alby, and he's also the leader of the Garden fairies."

Eleanor's face lit up with delight at the mention of Newt, her laughter bubbling forth as she pranced alongside Y/N. "What are Garden fairies?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Y/N chuckled at Eleanor's question, her heart warmed by the child's innocence. "Well, the Garden fairies are the gladers who take care of our crops and gardens," she explained, her voice filled with fondness for her fellow gladers. "They make sure we have plenty of food to eat."

As they approached the trackhoes, Y/N couldn't help but smile at the sight of Newt standing amidst the towering machines, his hands gesturing animatedly as he directed the gladers in their tasks. Eleanor's eyes widened with wonder at the sight of the tall, charismatic figure before them.

"There's Newt," Y/N said, her voice filled with pride as she watched Eleanor's face light up with joy. "Let's go say hello."

Eleanor's laughter filled the air, her infectious joy spreading to those around her. With each skip and hop, she exuded a childlike exuberance that was impossible to resist.

Y/N smiled fondly at the sight, her heart swelling with affection for the young girl who had quickly become a cherished member of their community. "Slow down, Eleanor," she called out gently, though her own laughter betrayed her amusement.

But Eleanor paid no heed to the admonition, her laughter bubbling forth like a melody as she pranced around, her eyes dancing with delight. As they neared the trackhoes, she spotted Newt standing nearby and darted toward him with eager strides.

"Newt! Newt!" she exclaimed, her eyes alight with delight as she ran towards him.

Newt turned at the sound of his name, a warm smile spreading across his face as he watched Eleanor approach. Opening his arms wide, he welcomed her with a gentle embrace, lifting her up effortlessly and settling her on his hip.

"Well, hello there, little one," Newt greeted her, his voice filled with warmth as he looked down at her.

Eleanor's eyes widened with wonder as she gazed up at him, her curiosity piqued. "Are you really a fairy?" she asked, her voice filled with awe.
