8 months in the glade

The night air in the glade was filled with a gentle breeze, carrying the scent of the surrounding forest and the distant murmur of the maze beyond. Up on the watchtower, perched high above the glade, Y/N and Gally found themselves wrapped in a blanket, lying side by side, their eyes fixed on the canvas of the night sky.

Y/N's eyes traced the constellations, their twinkling lights painting a tapestry of wonder against the velvet canvas of the night. She couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the stars, their ethereal glow casting a spell of serenity over the glade below.

"They look so beautiful," she whispered, her voice barely a breath against the stillness of the night.

Beside her, Gally lounged comfortably, his gaze alternating between the stars and the mesmerising sight of Y/N. Lost in his own thoughts, his eyes traced the lines of Y/N's profile with an affectionate gaze. He couldn't help but admire the way the starlight danced in her eyes, reflecting the wonder of the universe.

"Yes," he replied softly, his voice tinged with reverence. "They do."

Y/N glanced over at Gally, her heart skipping a beat as she found him gazing at her with a tenderness that took her breath away. Realising his intent, she chuckled softly and shook her head. "I meant the stars," she clarified, a playful glint in her eyes.

A smile tugged at the corners of Gally's lips as he reached out to cup her cheek, his touch gentle against her skin. "They have nothing on you," he murmured, his voice filled with warmth and affection.

In the stillness of the night, Y/N's heart swelled with emotion as she looked at Gally, the man she had come to love in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. Y/N decided to seize the moment, leaning in to kiss him gently. Their lips met in a tender embrace, and the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the quiet rustle of leaves and the soft symphony of crickets.

As they pulled away, their fingers intertwined, they returned their gaze to the heavens above, their hearts entwined like the constellations that adorned the night sky. With a soft sigh, Y/N nestled closer to Gally, her head resting against his chest as they continued to gaze at the stars.

Y/N shifted slightly, turning her head to look at Gally with a soft smile. "You know, I've always wondered what the stars would look like from outside the maze," she mused, her voice barely above a whisper.

Gally turned to meet her gaze, his eyes reflecting the shimmering light of the stars above. "Yeah, it's something to think about," he replied, a thoughtful expression crossing his features.

Silence settled between them, broken only by the gentle rustle of leaves in the breeze. Y/N took a deep breath, breaking the silence with a question that had been on her mind for some time. "What do you want to do when we finally leave this place?" she asked, her voice tinged with anticipation.

Gally's gaze drifted back to the stars, his thoughts turning inward as he considered her question. "I want to build us a house by the sea," he said finally, his voice tinged with determination. "Somewhere we can start fresh, away from all this madness."

Y/N's heart swelled with warmth at his words, her own dreams intertwining with his. "That sounds amazing," she murmured, a soft smile playing on her lips.

"And what about you?" Gally asked, turning to face her once more. "What do you want to do?"

Y/N's smile widened as she looked into Gally's eyes, her heart overflowing with love for the man beside her. "Honestly, I don't care what we do," she admitted, her voice filled with sincerity. "As long as I'm with you, that's all that matters to me."
