"Miss. Vella, you have again violated school rules. First time not enough?" Dr gaul says

"i just wanted to feed him.." i said

"breaking school conduct—for a district boy? Arachne would never—preferred her anyways" she says as i internally rolled my eyes

"I'm sorry, time just went by so fast and I didn't mean to skip class.." i lie, i just wanted to see treech

"Hmm, Miss.Vella thought you would have stopped that lying habit of yours" she smirks

uh- sorry but i do not have a lying problem

"Anyways; your punishment, detention for a week or you can do a clean up; anywhere or your desire." she says

"clean up, at the zoo." i smile

She nods an amused look "for your love?" she mocks

I try not take it personally as i leave her office but before i can she shouts

"Bring Miss.Dovecote and Mr.Snow here please."

I nod—not wanting to talk to her as I walk towards the class of mentors

I tap clemensia and snow on the shoulders as i say "Dr Gaul wants you guys in her office."

They both nod as I take my seat next to persephone

"hey, you alright?" she asks as i nod

"hey um did you happen to visit mizzen yet? he seems really sweet" i ask

she shakes her head "never got the time but i can after school, do you want to come with me?" she asks as i nod

"oh and bring him some snacks he looked really hungry.." i advised as we both turned to our lesson

After 3 whole hours on how the capitol will always be the most powerful and how districts aren't as worthy, blah, blah, blah

I was finally done with school for the day..though i did skip about 2 hours so i could make treech food and talk to him but that was not the point

At the end of the day the canteen usually opens once more incase people want to eat extra—I grab a container so i can give treech some food

I got some roasted potatoes and a chicken thigh and leg—maybe he has a preference? I put in some fries and nuggets aswell; maybe he eats like a 5 year old?

"hey i got mizzen like a muffin and a bowl of pasta—you think this is enough?" persephone asks as i give a quick nod and start walking towards the zoo

We make a quick pit stop as we see festus, clearly they have a crush on eachother but they always deny it—it's really obvious and they aren't hiding it well but to be fair to them, i think they're really cute together..coriolanus hates them together though, I always see him grimace at the sight of their flirting

"alright.."persephone touches his arm "i'll see you later" she flirts as he gives her a wink and we walk off towards the zoo together

"persephone, let's cut the act" i say as she looks at me confused

"what?" she replies

"you and festus?" i say as she blushes

"well...there's nothing really—"i give her a stare as she starts to talk again "fine maybe a little something but it's nothing serious right now..." she admits

"well i'm team..festephone? pestus?" i say as she giggles

"stop it! I see how your tribute stares at you." she teases as i blush and we go our separate ways

"treech!" i shout as he nods leaving lamina on the rock they were sitting on

"hey gorgeous." he says as he leans and his arms reach for the bars

"seriously?" he lets out a light chuckle as I hand him the food

"what's this?" he asks opening the box of food—his face softens as he looks up at me

"thank you." he says as i smile, atleast he is warming up to me!

We both sit down as he starts to eat his food, slowly though..almost like he was trying to save some for later

"it's fine you can eat all of it now..i will bring something for dinner this afternoon" i reassure him as he gives me a stare

"ya sure? won't lie to me will ya?" he asks as i shake my head

"what do you like? i'll bring it tonight..just stay awake for me because i'm kinda scared of.." i tilt my head towards the red headed girl from 4

"scared of coral? she's not too bad..not really nice to capitol people though"he admits

"oh yeah and in about an hour your gonna be taken away." i say as his eyes widen

"no-no not like that i mean like later the peacekeepers will take you to our academy hall and you have to answer some questions" i say embarrassed of my mistake

"you'll be there?" he asks as i nod

"now what if I don't want to answer the questions?" he asks

"i'll be asking them, so you have to" i say as he agrees with a simple 'ok'

"But seriously, what food do you like? I'll try make it or atleast prepare something similar!" i say smiling

"oh and i'll also bring pillows and a blanket for you sleep tonight!" i add

"uh well..didn't do much eating back in seven so i'm not really sure—what you have in the capitol?" he asks

"well, we have many items..like pasta, bagels..uhm well im not really sure myself tell me the things you like and i'll make something with those ingredients" i say

"what the fuck is an ingredient" he asks as I frown at his language

"What? Lady capitol doesn't swear?" he teases as i smile—it was a little funny

"funny? wanna here more?" he asks

"no no no—"i try change the subject "ingredients are basically something we say when we describe what we use to cook something

"ohh alright..uh guess i like chicken, it expensive back in seven but probably not here—maybe bread..sometimes on my birthday ma would get me a cake.." he smiles at the memory

"too bad i'll probably never get to see her again" he says annoyed

"treech."i say

"Aurelia." he replies

"I'll get you out of that arena..no matter what happens. I promise" i say

"you cant promise nothing..some of the tributes could kill me in a blink of an eye—as much as i want to believe you can keep me alive in there..it's impossible." he says sadly

"Treech. trust me and i'll make it happen.." i say

"Aurelia! come on..we need to work on the project and uh can festus come?" persephone asks

"why not..just don't make out infront of me, anyways bye treech..see you later" i whisper the last bit as me and persephone walk off

As i walk into persephone house, the three of us sit on her sofa sketching out ideas for the hunger games

"can i got to the bathroom?" i ask persephone as she nods

"ofcourse!" she says

I walk back into the living room to see persephone and festus making out, oh hell no.
