-TREECH- 𝐝𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐦𝐞

ACT 2 CHAPTER 1

The large screen of the panem symbol fills my sight as I sit on my desk, assigned to me; I'm sat next to persephone and festus, though festus asked if we could do a 'switcheroonie' or whatever that is supposed to mean..

I guess he wants to sit next to persephone? but I didn't want any funny business going on right next to me, and to him he said I was "cockblocking" like no, I just didn't want their make out session on live television!

So really, I was saving them both..and I was still kind of hung up on treech, I didn't even get to give him breakfast this morning..i'm just hoping that his dinner from the night before has kept him somewhat full for now..

"remember guys, shoulders back and smile. that's why we have teeth!" lucky exclaims happily

"Hello! my name is lucky flickerman! panems weatherman and today I am honoured to be hosting the 10th annual hunger games!" lucky shouts into the microphone as the tv starts to record

I look up to the big screen, patiently waiting for treech to appear, I just needed to get him home..home and safe.

I see the tributes start to stand on their little red spots as I see blood splotched across some of the walls from the previous games last year, I frown at the scene

"3..2..1..GO" lucky announces as my heart starts to race faster and faster

My eyes run across the screen to find that brunette boy that I was head over heels for? well that's what persephone would say atleast..

That's when I spot him, the camera pans towards his sliding down the cornucopia? that's what Coriolanus calls it atleast, His axe, in his hand trying to chop lucy in half

I gasp looking away as Coriolanus behind me is holding onto his desk.

I look back to see that lucy gray manages to escape, coriolanus must be happy..
The camera then pans to the beam as I stare in shock

There, laying marcus..sejanus' tribute hung on that beam..the hall goes silent as I quickly turn to sejanus as a angry look appears onto his face as he throws his desk across the screen

"YOU'RE MONSTERS! ALL OF YOU!" he shouts and runs out the hall, As I sit up to go comfort him I feel myself get dragged down by coriolanus behind me

"ow, what do you want?" I groan at the pain just inflicted onto me

"stay." he says

"and why would I listen to you?" I argue as he frowns and points towards the screen to see the pack

And to my shock it was the pack but treech wasn't with them? I squinted my eyes to see the screen better as my eyesight isn't the best, I wear glasses.

The camera finally pans to Treech, he was safe. I smiled at the sight of him before quickly returning to my straight face, remembering the conversation from the night before.

"I will make sure he never comes out of that arena. Not even when they have to pick up his limp body back to seven." I hear coriolanus whisper into my ear as I freeze

I look at him in shock before I scoff "you're insane." I say before returning to watch the screen

The screen is now straight onto the view of jessup and lucy gray as they are in some room? it's got some water surrounding and they're both panting after running

We start to see lucy gray lean in towards the pool of water as she leans in and grabs a handful for jessup, she's sweet..

"here, jessup drink.." she says as jessup starts to scream

My eyes widen as lucy flinches back and starts to step away and every time jessup follows by stepping forward, lucy starts to run, lifting a part of her dress as the boy starts to chase her around the arena

Coriolanus and Lyssie stands up as I see jessup trip and coriolanus shouts

"the foam! he has rabies.." he announces

"from the train.." lyssie whispers

"send him water." coriolanus tells her

"no! Lyssie don't! that's going to scare him!" I say as Lyssie nods before coriolanus interrupts

"away from her. Jessup is done." coriolanus says as I frown in disgust at his lack of sympathy

She nods as she sends the water snow thanks her before she says "nothing to be proud of." and walks out of the hall

I snarl at coriolanus, he's a terrible person..just like his father.

He sits down happily as I see Lucy crouch down beside Jessup and sigh, sadness is evident in her eyes as she covers his and ends up walking away, not before turning away once more pursing her lips, about to cry.

"she doesn't need to cry because of that." coriolanus says

I turn my head "shut up." and turn back around before persephone looks at me smiling

"using bad words now?" she says

"what do you mean?" I ask

"Well, as in..I've never heard you swear before you know?" she says as I think

I don't really swear and 'shut up' isn't the worst curse in the world—fairly it isn't even a curse but I know treech would get amusement if he ever heard me cussing someone out..

speaking of treech, him and the pack were now back on the screen arguing about something? I sigh trying to listen, ignoring the other people in the other room talking

"we cant eat. we don't have enough, let mizzen eat and that's it" coral says

"we cant do that. I'm. Hungry." tanner says

Mizzen had his head on treeches shoulder laying tiredly about to fall asleep, Treech looks up straight towards the camera, It felt like I was looking at him in real life but this time, It was over a screen.

Treech makes an eating motion as I scroll on my screen, the options of food that I could send him were limited but I had enough for 2 sandwhiches

I sent the items as I see him swiftly catch the items from the drone

"Miss. Vella and Mr. Snow, please retreat to my office immediately." I hear through the intercom
