MARRIAGE WAS HARD FOR AMELIA HOTCHNER. Her husband working late hours and being constantly out of town for work, along with her late hours at the hospital.
The two had met in college, he was studying law and her medicine. It was easier back then, because they actually had time for each other.
It became harder when he wasn't interested in law anymore, Aaron thrived to do more, which is what led him to the Behavioral Analysis Unit, it's what caused Amelia to pick up more shifts, hating being at home, alone.
She hated the strain on her marriage. She loved her husband, but she didn't know him anymore. Most of the time the only moments she had with him were in bed, as they slept together before he was whisked off to solve another case.
Amelia hated what their marriage had turned into, but he would never leave him, she loved him too much, he was it for her. He was her soulmate, her person, her twin flame.
