"It took me quite a long time to develop a voice, and now that I have it, I am not going to be silent." — Madeleine Albright

AMELIA AND AARON SAT IN THE WAITING ROOM.

Jack was lied down in his stroller as Aaron rocked it slightly.

"How do you feel?" Aaron asked her. Amelia cracked a small smile.

"Same way I felt when you asked me five minutes ago. I'm okay Aaron."

She had been doing some reading on postpartum as that is what she thought she had. Others experiences were farce as some described it as having good days but then bad days that really overwhelmed the good ones.

Amelia knew she still needed another medical opinion as hers didn't quite cut it. It had been around four days. Since Amelia told Aaron of her concerns so here they were sat in the waiting room of the family therapists office.

"I'm calling Strauss today letting her know I'm going to take more time off." Aaron told her.

Amelia shook her head. "Aaron you don't have to-"

"I would like to be with my family longer. So I'll let her know when we get home."

Amelia paused giving him a look. "There's no changing your mind is there?"

"No I'm afraid not." Aaron said shaking his head.

"Amelia Hotchner?" The two looked up to the nurse who stood in the doorway. "Dr. Jackson is ready for you." Amelia nodded.

"We'll be waiting out here for you." Aaron said. Amelia smiled walking towards the nurse as she followed her.

Amelia fell into her thoughts wondering.

"Amelia?" The nurse stood in the doorway. Amelia pulling out of her own thoughts. "Hi please feel free to sit down." Amelia looked around confused. She had expected the doctor to already be there.

"The doctor will be with you shortly." Amelia nodded standing near the door. As she looked around.

Around ten minutes later a knock sounded at the door as a man peered his head through the door.

"Hi, sorry, I'm late I had another client here before you."

Amelia shook her head brushing him off. "It's fine don't worry about it."
