WHEN SHE RETURNED home she lied on the couch after getting changed into one of Aarons shirts before placing on a movie for background.
It had been two weeks that Aaron had been gone as when he came back he was whisked away again.
It was one in the morning, and Amelia was fighting sleep. But her eyes widened slightly as the front door began rattling.
Her husband opened the door. Amelia sat up on the couch.
Aaron placed his shoes in the closet before heading to the living room. Noticing his wife seated on the couch .
"Hey honey." He gave her a tight smile as he moved towards her.
Amelia gave him a sad smile. "Hey."
"Why aren't you asleep?" He asked as he placed a kiss on her forehead.
"I'm watching a movie." She gestured towards the tv which played the movie Dirty Dancing. "You should join me." She said patting the couch.
Aaron smiled. "I will, just let me get changed." He placed a small kiss to her lips before heading towards their room.
When Arron returned he had on a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. He joined her on the couch. Pulling her into his chest which led her to wrap her arms around his waist. Sighing in contempt as he placed another kiss to her forehead.
"I have tomorrow off." He informed her.
"That's nice. I have work." She said sadly.
"Maybe you could call off and we could have a date night or something." Aaron said shrugging.
Amelia scoffed quietly. "I'm not calling off so we can have a date night."
"It was only a suggestion."
"Well it was a bad one since the only reason we haven't had a date night is because you've been out of town for the past two weeks."
Amelia sat up angrily. "Honey I don't want to argue."
"You never went to do much of anything Aaron." Amelia sighed before getting up and heading to their bedroom.
"Amelia." Aaron sighed before following his wife. "Amelia, baby please."
"Goodnight Aaron." She headed into the bathroom slamming the door.
