"To live is the rarest thing in the world. Most people exist, that is all." — Oscar Wilde

THE NIGHT HAD COME AND GONE. But Amelia and Aaron still had not spoken. Both breaking their rule of never going to bed angry.

The two awoke at the sound of Aaron's cellphone ringing.

Aaron shot up and answered. "Hotchner."

Amelia rolled her tired eyes as she pulled the covers over her head.

"When?" He continued speaking into the phone as Amelia listened in under the covers. "Did they raise the terror alert?"

That catching Amelia's attention as she peeled the covers off turning on the light near their bed.

Aaron looked at his wife but continued to speak into the phone. "No, that's probably best. All right get everybody in now. I'll be there in a minute." Aaron began getting out of bed.

Amelia looked at him. "What's going on?" She asked.

Aaron looked up to her surprised to hear her voice. "You're talking to me again?" He said a smirk appearing on his face. Amelia rolled her eyes.

"Aaron."

"Nothing, I just have to go to the office." He said courtly.

"At six in the morning? Come on Aaron you were talking about a terror alert." She sighed running a hand through her hair. As he moved to their closet.

"Honey-"

"No, you already lied so might as well tell the truth. It's bad isn't it?"

"Baby, I don't know yet." He urged with her. Causing her to scoff.

"You're lying again?" She asked starting to get angry.

"I don't know Amelia." Aaron sighed as he ran a hand through his hair placing a suit shirt on. "I may not be home tonight." He paused. "I might be late. I don't know."

Amelia let out another scoff. "I know Aaron, who knows maybe I won't see you for another week, and then you can come back and pretend we weren't fighting."

He buttoned up his shirt wondering if she was serious.

"Ameli-"
