"It is strange how often a heart must be broken before the years can make it wise." - Sara Teasdale
1 month and 3 weeks pregnant
AMELIA AND MEREDITH WALKED through the mall.
"Oh! We just have to stop at that store!" Meredith squealed slightly pulling Amelia towards a baby store.
Amelia rolled her eyes. "Meredith, I'm only like a month along, I don't even know the gender."
Amelia followed her into the store as they looked around.
"One month and three weeks, but who's counting?" Meredith shrugged before she continued. "Also the gender doesn't matter! Green is a neutral color." She spoke lifting a little green overall set.
Amelia awed at the sight before she began to look through the clothes. She sighed rubbing her stomach.
"My feet are killing me." She ran a hand through her hair. "I want some food."
"Oh come on, we just got here." Meredith rolled her eyes nudging Amelia. "Let's go get your baby some food." She placed the baby clothes back onto the rack as she looped her arm with Amelia's before leading them out the store.
Amelia rubbed her belly, "I could go for some tacos right now." She spoke looking to Meredith softly.
"Whatever. Let's go dork."

Amelia sat back sighing as she finished her plate.
"What're you pregnant with, twins?" Meredith spoke laughing at her.
Amelia blushed embarrassed. "I haven't eaten all day. And I'm pregnant, I can eat as much as I want." Amelia scolded as she took a sip of her drink.
Meredith paused. "I guess you're right."
The two paused as the intercom came on. 'Katie Jacobs please report to security.'
Before returning to their conversation. Time passed as the girls finished up their meals.
"Should we go?" Amelia asked as she began dusting herself off.
Meredith nodded. "Yeah, if you want." The two got up and began walking before they were stopped by a crowd.
Amelia could hear various sirens outside the mall. Wondering what was going on.
