"Very suddenly. Yes, quite suddenly, I didn't feel like I could handle my feeling of aloneness."— Markus Zusak
AMELIA WAS IN a grocery store trying to get her mind off of being fired.
She was trying to come up with ways to tell Aaron she had gotten fired.
She went over scenarios in her head. 'Hey honey, how was work? By the way I got fired today.'
She shook her head. Reaching for some ice cream, cookies and cream to be specific.
She was placing the item in her cart before another cart bumped into her. At that she looked up. Recognizing the woman.
"I'm so sorry." The woman said. Before she looked up her frown turning into a look of surprise. "Dr. Hotchner."
"Amelia, is fine Penelope."
Garcia nodded her head. "Don't you guys have a case?"
Penelope nodded. "Yeah but it's coming together pretty quickly but I have a feeling todays gonna be a long day, that's why I came to get some stuff to make some sandwiches."
"Sandwiches?" Amelia smiled. "Yeah but I think I'm taking too long. I should have been back like ten minutes ago."
"I have an idea. Why don't you head back to the office and I'll drop off some sandwiches in let's say, thirty minutes?" She suggested.
"Are you sure that's a lot of trouble I couldn't ask you-"
"I don't mind! Truly and I wouldn't mind seeing Aaron so it's a plus."
"Okay! Thank you." Penelope quickly left the store leaving Amelia alone with the two carts. Penelope's cart was filled with sandwich bread, ham and cheese. Deciding she would pick up more items later.
Amelia placed all of Penelope's items in her cart before giving the cart to someone else.
When she finished up at the store she quickly headed home. The unit was only fifteen minutes away so she quickly began prepping the sandwiches.
Once she finished she placed them all in a little box.
She washed her hands before heading outside with the sandwiches in hand. Amelia got into her side before sighing. Beginning her drive to the unit.
Once she reached at the office she sighed looking around nervously. She rarely ever came to the unit.
She headed inside being stopped at the reception desk. "Hi, do you have an appointment?"
