"If you are afraid of being lonely, don't try to be right." - Jules Renard
3 months pregnant
AMELIA SAT IN AARON'S OFFICE. He was on a call with someone as he watched her sit quietly.
"Yes, they should be in later tonight." Aaron nodded to himself. "Oh if only I could make paperwork day everyday." Aaron sighed.
The two went back and forth on the line before Aaron ended the call. "Thank you Linda."
"Honey." Aaron called from his desk looking up to Amelia who had zoned out. "Honey." He called again for her attention.
When she didn't answer he got up from his desk walking towards the couch he had as he sat down next to her. "Amelia." He tapped her knee.
"Oh. Yes sorry." She shook her head at herself. "Did you say something?"
"Are you okay?" Aaron asked.
"Yeah I'm fine. I just zoned out there." She placed her hand over his. "Are we still on for lunch?" She asked him smiling lightly.
Aaron nodded as he looked down at his watch. "Yes, we should be. Ultrasound appointment is tomorrow right?"
Amelia nodded before she responded. "Yeah, but I understand if you guys get a case or something. I can go with Meredith."
"JJ will let us know of any cases. I'm all yours today and tomorrow." The two smiled at each other before leaning in and placing a kiss to each other's lips.
Aaron pulled away as he placed a hand to Amelia's stomach his hand covering most of it.
"He's getting so big." He let out smiling lightly.
Amelia rolled her eyes. "You don't know if it's a boy yet. But yeah she is definitely getting bigger."
Aarons smile brightened as he let out a chuckle. "He or she won't matter, I'll love them both the same."
"I know you will." Amelia spoke as she leaned into him placing a quick kiss to his lips. "I'm getting really hungry though so we should go for some lunch right now." Aaron nodded getting up before grabbing Amelia's hand to help her up along with grabbing her purse she had brought with her.
The two exited the room before Aaron's phone began ringing in his pocket. "Hold on." The two stopped at the elevator. Amelia nodded as she waved goodbye to the team as Aaron answered his call.
