stars hollow had an event for everything and that included the annual snowman building contest that fell whenever it first snowed. well, snowed enough for a snowman contest. and the gilmore family took part. every year.
this year was björk inspired. per vee's request.
but their björk inspired snowman was never going to win with the guy power buffing his snowman only a few feet away from them. he was a shoe in and it was annoying them to no end. they gave up when their head fell off.
"coffee?" tori suggested.
"right behind you," lorelai responded, following her as she walked away.

paris wanted the first franklin issue back to be a double issue, sadie wanted them all to still have soccer practice during the holidays and theatre rehearsals were still running too (just less often). so, all in all, tori wasn't really getting a lot of holiday.
plus friday night dinners were awkward since richard was miserable at his job and that was leaking into everything else. including that neither were taking a vacation that holiday.

tori sat opposite sookie as she ranted about the fact the bracebridge dinner was no longer going ahead. it was a massive event that was all paid for and had taken so much effort from everyone at the inn.
and sookie had the brilliant idea to invite luke and jess. lorelai suggesting to invite other people in the town.
"spread the word," lorelai instructed luke.
"i haven't said i'll come yet so i'm certainly not gonna become your messenger boy," luke retorted.
lorelai stared at him, looking slightly hurt by his words.
"eight o'clock?" luke asked, seeing her face.
"seven."
"right."

sadie, jasmine, their goalkeeper and anna a girl from the addams family (who was playing wednesday) had all agreed to attend the bracebridge dinner, after tori gave a general invite to her friends (a lot of them not going as they already had plans or were not in the mood with practice still going ahead, or some were just on holiday). they were going to share a room.
"you guys are being put to work," tori informed as they made their way down to the lobby. "you gotta greet people with a smile and point them to me and rory, we'll give them their room key."
paris showed up to give them everything for the franklin.
"you are a machine, paris, truly, i respect it," tori complimented, taking the papers from her. "rory's over there for her stuff."
