victoria wanted to throw up when sookie came to her with the request she sing at her wedding reception. but she agreed because she couldn't say no to the woman.

sookie hadn't even heard her sing yet. the musical wasn't until after the wedding.

and tori was finally allowed to play soccer again and just in time for the final two matches of the season. the camp her and sadie dreamt of were notorious for scouting chilton students.

however, no chilton team had been as good as the current one.

their dad had come to see her cast getting taken off and even came back for her final match. her final match a few towns over.

and this time, she didn't get tackled poorly. she went uninjured, scoring a goal in the first half and assisting with one in the final five minutes, putting them up 2-0. then they dropped back to defence to avoid the other team getting a goal.

the whistle blew and each girl screamed, tori running towards sadie and jumping into her arms. they'd ranked top of the school league board.

---

"you weren't kidding when you said she was good, lor," chris complimented.

tori smiled, "thanks, dad."

"i'm not kidding, if they don't scout you for that camp, they're idiots."

it only took a little longer before it was announced that rory was running for student body vice president and needed to get home to sort out some things for the campaign.

tori announced that she would be voting for her and paris before she excused herself because she had work to do for the show (she was having to alter her own costume, which she only agreed to because she was the only one available that could sew).

---

chris and sherrie had broken up, which was part of the reason he was in stars hollow so much.

and that meant he wanted to try and be a family again.

tori would believe it when she saw it. the man was the most unreliable person ever. he'd shown up for her when she broke her arm, but that was about it.

she heard a beeping from her bag before the wedding. she grabbed it, taking the phone call away from the event.

"hello?"

"is this victoria gilmore?" the voice questioned.

"uh, yes, this is she," she answered.

"hello, victoria. my name is jean, i'm with the miami soccer camp for under 18s-" victoria felt herself start to bounce, her fingers dancing as she waited for what they were about to say. her heart pounded and suddenly she felt like she was underwater. "- and we would love you to join us this summer."
