Everyone on the battlefield pauses to take in what has happened. With a single attack, Morphius has lost his arms. There is no sign of him breathing, and there is no sign of his heart beating.
*Is he dead?* Sam asks himself.
He walks into the barrier. He presses into Morphius' neck to check his pulse, and under his nose to check on his breathing.
*I thought he had much more to offer... Whatever, let's go!*
The barrier collapses, but not of Sam's doing. What is happening? Sam claims that the barrier needs too much energy and time to prepare; therefore, it isn't an option to re-do it in a short time. He needs to learn how to revive a collapsing barrier. He backs out of range and tells everyone to keep their ears covered to protect them.
An unbearable sound pierces through the ground and enters the body. There is no chance of protection against it. They freeze on the spot after the exposure. Lucius and Sam, the closest to the barrier, see a miracle: Morphius' limbs are growing back. Every scar and skin damage is resetting.
His heart beats the deepest bass, and the ground trembles. The air surrounding them visibly swirls around and flows directly through Morphius' nose. His arms spread to the side and slightly drop down while his body ascends and turns over with his face looking into the heavens. His back arches. His legs and arms spread wider apart. The dust and rocks on the battlefield roll underneath him and rise to protect him, surrounding him in a perfect sphere.
Lucius tries walking towards him as soon as his body begins to move but is held back by Sam, who appears to be frightened of what will happen next.
*Stand back; I have a very bad feeling!*
A massive void appears from above the skies. A giant, glowing creature appears. A godly creature, a king wearing a spikey, flakey crown. Over his crowned skull, there is a golden halo hovering brighter than a flashlight.
Lucius calls out, *I've seen that staff before! It's the Monkey-King!*
Jane looks up and shouts, *Jin!!* with tears running down her face after she deactivates her helmet.
*You finally came! I hoped it wouldn't be too late.*
He stares down at Sam and shakes his head. He raises his right arm and opens a new void, through which he summons his men. They are officially free.
*Alright, I need to make god-mode a little smaller...*
He shrinks to his normal size with his "god-mode partly activated and points his staff toward the flying sphere.
Jin isn't impressed, though he claims to be surprised by how the event has turned out.
*So this is what it looks like to be reborn as a true god! I have read about it, but there has never been anyone to reach this state. This is the highest awakening to be witnessed to date. You could say he is in the zone. The scripts say that the weakest soul will die within the first few minutes, but Morphius... He isn't weak. As soon as the dirt sphere disappears and he is not dead, he will be a deadly challenge, a real danger!*
He continues, *Hey, you guys!*
He points to Morphius' soldiers and warns them: *It will be best to fight with us. Right now, he might want a one-man army, so you will all be useless to him. Meaning he will attack you as soon as he is ready. It's something he liked doing in the old days. You don't mean anything to him if you are too weak!*
The sphere quickly vanishes, but there is no one in it. Jin senses a presence from far above and looks at him. *You don't have to do this!* He claims.
Morphius slowly rolls his eyes downward to look down on them. He stretches out his right arm, widens his palm, and rotates it. Four soldiers fall to the ground and release a red-white ball. Sam runs toward the fallen soldiers and grabs two of the balls before Morphius descends.
