Mama Lucius finds a spot to sit with her son, right in the middle of the woods. Lucius tells her how and why this exact spot is his favorite. His mother nods her head and tells him she has known it already and that she knows a lot about what Lucius has experienced.

*Lucius, you see, I know a lot about everything happening. It was a feeling I always had. Hanging out with someone makes it possible for me to know things about them, mostly precious things. I am still considered normal though.*

**a normal?**, Lucius hears these exact words for the first time from his mother.

She continues...

*Normal means a normal human being. My parents said my abilities were "just" something normal. something like intuition. She said this because, in the past, those were about him. I don't know exactly who He is, but He seems to play an important role in our family history. His story goes like this:*

Long ago In the old ages, when gods used to live on the same ground as us human beings, the weaker ones, being humankind, were slaves to the superior ones. The gods created everything around them. Even though men weren't able to see them, they always believed in the messenger's sayings about the world under their control.

Some gods disguised themselves as men and paired with mankind. Willingly or not, they bore beautiful half-gods who were much stronger than the average human. This happened over centuries, until one day an unknown god showed up. He was really strong and powerful; he even showed his face and how he was able to create life. He was called the Monkey King. Though he never looked like a monkey. He just explained that his name was given to him by his best friend because of his animalistic character and his movements, just like a monkey but more elegant. He was the embodiment of every creature created, and he made his people feel comfortable around him. He told stories about what needed to happen in the future and that everything had to happen in a specific time period. He disappeared and appeared as time went by, just as he had always promised his people. Every time he reappeared, it was at the same time that his people needed him the most.

He reproduced with human beings, just like other gods did. He explained that his reproduction wasn't to make more slaves but to make them capable of fighting stronger beings like him to protect men.
In wars created by the gods, he was always there and fought with his sons. Even though they lost many battles, they still proved their strength and got stronger after every battle.

In every third generation, there was always a descendant who was claimed to be the strongest of them all. He is even stronger than the father of the strongest demigods, they assumed, though no one was sure how strong he was. The last war he fought was called the War of the Titans. The name was given by one of the Monkey King's followers. The goal was to erase everything and everyone, just to create new people who were less evolved and not willing to stand against the gods. The Monkey King knew this day would come, creating a counterplan-a plan he had been working on for ions.

The War of the Titans was the deadliest war known to mankind. It was the first between gods and creation. Though the story was forgotten throughout time, its existence is still preserved by victimized families, all descendants of the Monkey King.

Around eighty percent of his sons were forever gone. He was completely weakened in this war; it was impossible to try and make more children. The remaining members of his bloodline were girls and women who were strong, loving, and gifted with abilities.
Some were called magicians and healers. After losing their real names, they were later called witches. People feared their existence and found a way to end their lives.

Before the Monkey King disappeared for the last time, he promised to reappear and walk Earth till the end of time, once the strongest generation of his bloodline was born. A generation so strong will be considered gods with almost no limit in power.

"The time shall come in which my children will become stronger than all and find what I never could. They will hate and love each other. Their love will change their destiny, and I will fight among them. Let them know who I am when the time comes. Until then, you shall keep silent and hurt no soul."

In every generation, there was always a new story told about the Monkey King. Pyramids were perfected, gravitational equations were discovered, math became a subject with no limits known to humankind, it evolved to a discovery that was called physics, electricity was discovered, the light bulb and a new cult, the government, were invented, exactly as he prophecised.
Jamie, Lucius' ancestor, was the first, after many generations of his family, to be a male demi-god. His family feared him. He was both kind and furious. He had everything a leader should have. His power was beyond imagination. He could create and destroy without breaking a sweat. He was the god of his time. His best friend, who was mostly hidden behind his shadow, grew older and became almost as strong as him. Everyone had hope.

"The Monkey King will be walking among us soon!" they thought.

Those who knew about the legend's truth tried spreading the news to other family members. They sang and rejoiced for years, but the monkey king never returned.

"He let us down; he forgot about us," they began saying with sad voices. Jamie knew he wasn't the promised descendant. He and his friend grew much stronger.

"Maybe if we become much stronger than we are right now, we might be able to bring him back and put a smile on everyone's lips." They traveled around the world to see and understand everything there was.

After living for one hundred and thirty-nine years, Jamie's best friend began having suicidal thoughts. He wasn't willing to live much longer on Earth. Jamie tried showing him how life could be beautiful if only they were able to become as strong as needed. His plan worked; his best friend was willing to live, but he also wanted to be the only one to succeed. He worked on a plot for a hundred more years. He founded the first government to ever exist and showed his followers Jamie's devilish side. The government decided to eliminate him, threatening to kill his family unless he turned himself in.

At the age of 241, Jamie had to turn himself in. Many relatives were killed, even though the government promised to let them go after Jamie had turned himself in. The only survivors were the non-believers of the family who traveled abroad to live their lives, far away from the drama behind the Monkey King. Jamie said his last goodbyes to an entire crowd watching his execution. He was burned in the sunlight with blue flames. It was never known how many blue flames were created, and no one bothered to ask questions.

His death left the family with female mutants. Their presence was very weak, weaker than every female mutant to ever exist; therefore, the last option was to remain hidden. The non-believers among the relatives abroad heard about the execution. They started to believe in something beyond understanding; they were made believers. His death was like a curse upon all descendants of the Monkey King. The survivors were too weak to spread their stories and defend themselves; every generation only had one mutant, and the families began hating each other as there was no order as to which family would have the next mutant.

Lucius' great-grandmother was the last one known to be mutated in his family. Now it is Lucius. Something doesn't seem right. This time, there is more than just one. Something has changed, but what exactly? The others are yet to be found.*

Lucius' mom and another woman somewhere else say the same words at the same time:

*That's all I know about our family, Lucius.*
*That is all I know about our family, Blu.*

Mama Lucius adds, *There might be more to know, but I think you will know when the time is right. You might be among the prophecy's strongest generation. I have the feeling you aren't the only one. It feels like somehow our curse has been broken. I feel multiple you...s, and they are much closer than ever. Maybe you should find them and grow stronger together, no matter what happens. Show the world your burning flames!* She touches her hurt chest.
Lucius believes in everything. He has been sensing another person, somehow calm but also with a strong presence. He decides to change his class.

*He is calling me; I am sure he is in this class*.

We all know who this second person is now, don't we?

Chapter 7, end.
