Somewhere on a continent now called Continent A...
Once on a continent with the most trustworthy worshipers of Zeus, a woman named Martha prays to Zeus to help her. Her man has left her behind after their engagement, promising her to come back after five years. She loves her so much that she misses him after the first few months and prays through chanting that he will come back sooner than he has promised.
She has rejected every other man who dares to ask for her hand in marriage. After half a year, she yearns for her man and doesn't believe she can live another month without him by her side.
*Almighty Zeus! Your servant is calling upon you! I have been waiting for an eternity to see him again—the man of my dreams, the seed of my future fruits, the love of my life. I will never fall in love with anyone again if he doesn't come back to me. I have a weird feeling in my abdomen, and I can't take it anymore. Please help me, your humble servant. Make him come back to me, make him appear earlier than promised, make him fill my heart, and clear this emptiness, I beg of you.*
Her prayer reaches Zeus. He sends thunder down to earth to comfort her. He appears as an eagle in her dreams and promises her a happy life. He reappears every night to speak with her and take her mind off the love of her life. He gifts her with perfect sight and more beauty than any woman on earth. He cleanses her from her sorrows and pain. He tells her stories.
Very soon, Zeus finds a liking for her; he falls in love with the most beautiful woman mankind has ever witnessed and becomes selfish toward her. He no longer has the intention to grant her her greatest heart desire and unleashes war on earth.
The first three years have passed, and the world is unsafe. Women are kept at home, and men are sent into war to fight for their families. Any intruder who dares enter Martha's house is punished by Zeus himself; this attracts the attention of the other gods. They are not happy about the situation. They lack the power to stop Zeus and watch the strongest Olympian break their very first rule: "No god shall ever unleash an unstoppable war on humans."
After one and a half years, four and a half years after Martha's man leaves her behind, Zeus offers peace under one condition: Martha will give him a chance and praise him with her body for one night.
Martha, missing her lost man and hoping that he has survived the war so far, agrees to take his offer. Zeus shows her passion and gives her the night of her life. He devours Martha and savors every piece of her to keep the memory. Soon after this, he single-handedly stops the war and creates a new rule: "No god shall ever touch a human or live amongst them until it is of Zeus' order."
The gods aren't happy with this decision. Not knowing what Zeus has done, they silently agree on the rule and banish themselves from Mother Earth.
In the first six months after Zeus disappears from her life, Martha isn't aware of her pregnancy. Her belly stays almost flattened, and the baby goes unnoticed. Her period is considered to have stopped because of sickness and heartbreak. She puts herself at fault and punishes herself by eating only plants and drinking less water than usual.
Her man returns after five years have passed and tells her about his experience. He has been cheating on her with multiple other women and is finally ready to settle down and have kids with Martha.
She doesn't care about her man's sins. *He came back to me!* She thinks.
They spend their first night together. He gives his all to impregnate his woman and asks for her hand one last time. This time, they will marry. They plan to marry in three months.
A day before their wedding, Martha's belly grows large over night, and an unknown presence kicks in.
*You are a witch! The time hasn't yet come to bear fruit. You are an untruthful woman, Martha!* He screams at her and barges out of their home. He never returns.
Martha lives, gives birth to a handsome baby boy, and names him Morpheus. The villagers disown her due to her unfaithfulness, not knowing the story behind it all. She moves to Continent C and begins a new life. She raises her demi god of son to become humble and help humans. She gifts her most precious blessing before she dies: a strong heart.
Morpheus travels throughout Continent C, shows believers miracles, and promises their safety. In return, he will guard and heal them. He will play god over them. He does this to not catch Zeus' attention.
One day, he meets two individuals: Jin and Silvester. He travels around the world through time after being saved. In a fight against Poseidon, he loses friends. To them, Morpheus has been killed in a battle.
He survives, and he plans revenge. He wants his old friends to feel what he has felt: pain, anger, hatred...
Morphius lives through the most beautiful events in history. He lives through stories, time, electricity, physics, and general science.
The day of his revenge has come. His plan doesn't go as perfectly as he planned, but he gains something better in return. He gains freedom over his body. He is set free from the earth's boundary. Now, his goal is to take manners into his own hands and finish what he has started. He gains control over the forbidden technique.
Chapter 39, end.
