As the room filled with silence and Ms. Park had kept the two girls separated from one another, time seemed to keep passing with no signs of help coming for them or towards the school. Quietly the students sat in their own spots or stood in a spot of the room.
The skies outside the school had darkened. The sun had set a while ago and they were still stuck at school in the broadcasting room with no one else.
Na-Yeon was still pissed off at the fact that they had sided with Gyeong-Su and had hoped that what she had done had been enough to get him out of there and to make it seem like she had been right about the situation. However her plan wasn't going as well as she had anticipated.
Min-Jung was still pretty pissed off herself and did her best with remaining composed and civil. Standing with Su-Hyeok, Cheong-San, and Gyeong-Su while her brother sat with the girls at the table.
"I don't know what her problem is." Min-Jung spoke quietly.
"Leave her. She's never going to change." Gyeong-Su spoke as he scoffed. "She's got problems." He mumbled as he was pretty pissed off with the accusations and words choices he had to tolerate from Na-Yeon too.
Na-Yeon kept her eyes on them before she spotted what she had needed or had thought that she did. "His nose!"
Gyeong-Su listened as he had grabbed a tissue to wipe his nose. Turning to face her before scoffing as he showed the tissue. "It's clean. What are you on about?" He asked.
"I think she's just bored or something." Min-Jung scoffed.
"I am not!"
"Quit attracting the zombies to us with all your yelling." Sung-Hoon replied as he could feel something was off but didn't bring it up to avoid anymore issues between his sister, his friend, and the rich girl who disliked his friend.
"What did I ever do to you?" Gyeong-Su asked seriously before she could reply to Sung-Hoon's comment.
"Your kind of people shouldn't go near people like me." Na-Yeon scoffed.
Min-Jung crossed her arms. "That's rich coming from you. You should've gone to a private school if you hate him that much or people similar to him."
"You always take his side when you belong in a different class from him. Does it make you feel good hanging out with his kind?"
"I might be but I could care less about labels and more based on how they are as a person. Besides, I don't mind treating my friends when I can. I care about their well beings too." She shrugged.
"That's pathetic."
"Not one bit of it is but you definitely are. You were born with a gold spoon in your mouth and look how you turned out. At least he can enjoy himself as a person without degrading others."
"Song Min-Jung. That's quite enough." Ms. Park intervened.
"Ms. Park, I understand that you are trying to keep the peace but all the money she once had means nothing anymore. She's acting like we need to drop everything for her and serve her."
"I haven't even made you go on your knees yet." Na-Yeon scoffed.
"Because your knees would touch the floor first."
"Na-Yeon do not continue to argue and step away."
Nam-Ra watched as she glanced at her friend's state before glancing over at Na-Yeon who didn't seem apologetic for what she had caused. Causing Nam-Ra to speak up as she got up and walked over to her. "Why did you almost do it?" She asked.
"What are you talking about?" Na-Yeon spoke as she glanced at her.
"Why did you almost do it?" Nam-Ra asked again.
"I-i didn't do anything to Gyeong-Su!" Na-Yeon spoke up. Giving herself away with her answer.
Nam-Ra knew she got her. "I never mentioned anything about Gyeong-Su." She spoke.
Su-Hyeok glanced over as he was intrigued by what was going on and being said. Unaware of why Nam-Ra was suddenly speaking against Na-Yeon.
"What are you talking about Nam-Ra?" Ms. Park spoke up.
Getting the attention of Cheong-San and Min-Jung as they both glanced over to the girl who hated the guts of their best friend due to his status in society.
"That rag she wanted to use to clean his wound with.. the one Min-Jung had confiscated.." Nam-Ra spoke up. "It had infected blood, didn't it?" She asked Na-Yeon. "When Ms. Park went to talk to him.. everyone was gathered by the window and you took the chance to wipe the pole they had used earlier."
Na-Yeon listened as she was been exposed to the others. Shaking quietly in her spot out of frustration that even with Gyeong-Su still fine they were still against her for no reason. In her mind, she had done nothing wrong.
"Tell us the truth." Nam-Ra spoke as she reached for her pocket to get it out after it was returned to her.
Na-Yeon scoffed as she dug into her pocket for it. "You mean this? Take it!" Taking the rag as she threw it on the floor for her to pick up.
Nam-Ra picked it up. "It has blood."
"That's not infected blood. You can't prove anything."
"In that case.. since it's clean as you claim. Here. Clean your wound with it."
"N-no. Why should I have to do that?" She asked.
Nam-Ra held out the rag for her to take as her hand was slapped away before she slapped Na-Yeon back.
"Nam-Ra! Are you sure?" Ms. Park spoke up. "That would mean Na-Yeon tried to kill him." She added.
"I saw her." Nam-Ra spoke.
Cheong-San listened as his blood was boiling. "You tried to do what?" He asked as he walked over and shoved her back.
Na-Yeon listened. "I didn't kill him. He's not dead. He's still standing behind you so what's the problem?" She asked.
Min-Jung listened as she fummed even more than before as she walked over. Closing her hand into a fist before throwing the first hit on her cheek. She was done with having to listen to what she had confessed to doing. She wouldn't tolerate it anymore. Not after she purposely tried to get someone killed because she couldn't handle being wrong.
That hit was her breaking point. Min-Jung just snapped at the news that her best friend could've turned because of her. He had almost been turned because of the actions of someone who was selfish enough to cross a line to get rid of someone and prove a point about being right.
Na-Yeon held her cheek as she felt herself hit the floor. Her eyes watering as she got back up. "What the hell is your problem?!" She spoke up.
"You! You tried to kill my best friend and your defense is that he isn't dead because you were stopped. You're such a bitch." Min-Jung yelled as she was held in place by her brother.
"What did you just call me?!"
"You heard me. I won't stand your antics anymore. You accused him of being infected and then you actually tried to get him infected? What kind of sane person does that?!"
"Min-Jung." Gyeong-Su spoke up. "Just drop it."
"She tried to kill you." Min-Jung spoke as she turned to him. "I can't let that slide. You spent your time in there and proved you were right. If she wants to get rid of you then she'll have to get rid of me first." She scoffed as she was done dealing with someone like Na-Yeon.
