Veldora POV

I've lost control of my body... I was in the midst of a match against my sister when a sudden bullet was fired in my direction. Are they attempting to take control of me? No, I can't allow this to happen. If I keep resisting, it might endanger my sworn brother, Rimuru. I can't let that happen, so I must sever my connection to Rimuru. I'm sorry, Rimuru. I can't let you be dragged down with me. I hope you'll forgive me when you come to my rescue.

"Rimuru is here! He surely can free me from this control. After all, he was the one who broke the unlimited imprisonment. So, I know he can do anything," I thought, reassured by the presence of Rimuru, who had already demonstrated incredible feats.

"Hang on, Veldora. I'll get you out of there right away," said Rimuru, looking determined.

I had always known I could count on Rimuru, a special person who, in just two years, became a Demon Lord, freed me, and established a nation. However, my relief was short-lived as my sister approached, touching my scales and ominously stating, 'Next time you wake up, you'll be one of us.' Fuming inside, I felt like a burden to Rimuru, who had trusted me to handle my sister. Regret lingered for letting my guard down, underestimating my sister's cunning. Now, unable to control my own body, I had no choice but to rely on Rimuru's help. Gradually, my body moved towards Rimuru, and a resounding roar escaped my draconic form.

Rimuru Pov

I can deal with Velgrynd alone, but Veldora's Probability Manipulation is proving to be a formidable challenge. The battle has been raging for about 30 minutes, and I'm gradually losing energy, while they both seem filled with boundless strength. At this rate, am I going to lose and die before saving Veldora? Veldora is proving to be a formidable opponent for Raphael, using the power of probability manipulation to turn a 50% chance of hitting into a guaranteed strike. In my mind, all I can hear is, 'How did I make such a big mistake?' I knew Veldora would be tough on his own, but facing his sister is proving to be just as difficult.

The realization dawns that rescuing Veldora may be more challenging than anticipated, and the weight of the situation intensifies.

Third person POV

In the aftermath of the grueling battle, Rimuru found himself exhausted and battered. The weight of the conflict bore heavily on him, especially with the pressing desire to rescue his brother Veldora. Velgrynd, seizing the opportunity, unsheathed her sword and in a flash, materialized behind Rimuru, delivering a devastating blow that cut not just his physical form but also reached into the depths of his soul..

In this moment of vulnerability, Rimuru grappled with his limitations, aching not just for his own suffering but for his inability to protect those he cared about. The battle had become a poignant reminder of the constant pursuit of strength, a sentiment echoing through Rimuru's weary mind as he faced the consequences of his current predicament. At that moment he drew his last breath.

Velgrynd exhaled with satisfaction, declaring triumph over what she deemed the most troublesome adversary. Her eyes glinted with the anticipation of the empire's conquest, envisioning the subjugation of the remaining territories within the Forest of Jura.

Velgrynd: Finally, the most troublesome opponent has been dealt with. Now, we, the Empire, can conquer the rest of the Forest of Jura.

Rudra: Yes, and the game with "guy" would end. Now, Velgrynd, come over here.

Velgrynd flew over to the airship where her beloved Rudra sat. Then, in a sudden turn of events, he struck her, swiftly taking her Dragon Factor. The people on the airship stood in shocked silence as this unexpected betrayal unfolded. With only a tiny bit of life remaining, Velgrynd looked toward him, attempting to speak despite her grievous condition.
