500 years before Rimuru come to the world
Veldora was in the midst of battle. The Eastern Empire had decided to attack the Jura Forest, the home of Veldora. They knew they had a 0% chance of winning against the current Veldora; however, they had ulterior motives for doing so. Veldora really didn't care why they were doing this, but it was fun for him

In less than two minutes, 95% of the Eastern Empire's army was wiped out, with the remaining 5% fleeing for their lives. It was a total annihilation, and they stood no chance.
After the remaining 5% fled, Veldora used Fertile Paradox to restore the half-destroyed forest to its original form (although he needs a source for this power, for this instance let's say he can do it without one). The inhabitants of the Great Forest of Jura were relocated to a safer area to avoid being caught in the blast.
Once he finished rebuilding the forest, Veldora used thought communication to inform the inhabitants that it was now safe to return home, and they all complied.
As Veldora made his way home, he sensed his sister approaching him at a speed faster than light. She crash-landed in front of him, creating a small crater. Velgrynd appeared quite angry as she walked up to Veldora.
Velgrynd: (furious) Veldora, Why did you wipe out 95% of the army? Thanks to you, Rudra's plan is now ruined.Veldora: (shrugging) Oh, come on, Velgrynd. It was just a little fun. Besides, they attacked me first.
Velgrynd: I don't care. Now Rudra is angry because you killed 95% of our army. His plan is going to take more time, and I don't think he could handle it anymore.
Veldora: Sister, to be frank, I don't like Rudra one bit because he was the one who let Milim suffer and watched her as she went on a rampage. To be honest, I want his plan to fail since it would cause other people to suffer, including you.
Velgrynd: So this is how you feel then, Veldora? Then I have no other choice but to cut you off from my life.
Veldora: (stunned) W-w-what? So you're choosing Rudra over a family member? Why? Is your love for him that great that you would rather cut me off?
Velgrynd: (coldly) Yes, I am choosing Rudra over you. I will not stand by and watch you jeopardize everything we've worked for. Goodbye, Veldora. We're done.
Veldora: (hurt) Sister... I haven't seen you for a millennium, and this is how you treat me?
Velgrynd: Yes, and goodbye.
Velgrynd turned away from Veldora, her expression hardened with resolve as she walked away, leaving Veldora alone with a heavy heart. He couldn't understand how his sister could choose Rudra and his ambitions over their family bond. Did Rudra mean that much to her? In the past, she and Velzard had "educated" him, but they never once expressed hatred toward him, even though they had killed him many times. This time was different, as she told Veldora she hated him, a statement she had never uttered before, causing Veldora's heart to break. As Veldora walked home with a heavy heart, he noticed Luminous waiting for him. Despite his attempt to mask his emotions, she could tell that something was wrong. Without a word, she embraced him as he approached, offering silent comfort in her embrace. Veldora leaned into her warmth..
