Birth of the Storm Dragon

Veldora POV

When I opened my eyes, all I saw was darkness, and I couldn't move as I wanted to. Trying to stretch out my arms, I could feel some kind of wall, and the darkness around me felt confined, like I could touch something. Then, I remembered what Ciel had told me – she would send me back in time, but the destination would be random. The only times I had experienced such darkness were when I was sealed inside the cave or when I resided within the egg in the heavenly star place.

After what seemed to be a couple of hours, I could hear cracks, and I was right. I was inside the egg, and it seemed like the day of my birth. Finally, I could be free, as it felt like I was suffocating inside there. After the egg fully cracked, I raised my head out, and I saw a dragon looking down on me. It had cyan scales, four legs, two large wings, and smooth spines going down its neck and onto its back. It looked somewhat like me. I knew who this dragon was; it was my elder brother Veldanava, the oldest of the true dragon race and the creator of this world. I looked towards him and saw a gentle smile.

Veldanava: I shall name you veldora

When he named me, I could feel the name being carved into my soul. A surge of power resonated within me, and I could sense the attributes of lightning, wind, and water, forming the power of the storm. Additionally, I was bestowed with the unique skill "Investigator," which comprised the following abilities:

. Analytical appraisal 

.Pursuit of Truth

.Thought acceleration 

I also possessed another unique skill given to me by Ciel called "Absorption/Devourer". (quite similar to the Orc King/Lord that Rimuru defeated.) This skill shared resemblances with Gluttony and came with the following abilities:

. Mimicry

.Predation

.Stomach

.Isolation

(Pretty much the same as Rimuru's Gluttony and the Orc King/Lord's Devourer abilities, kind of like making Veldora Rimuru 2.0.)

After looking at my new skills i got from ciel. I flew up and landed next to my brother and started to speak to him so he doesnt get suspicious that I have came back from the future.

Veldora: So are you my big brother? 

Veldanava: Yes i am and also the eldest. You also have 2 older sisters named Velzard and velgrynd making you the youngest and also the last true dragon born under me.

When he mentioned my sister, I flinched a little, still harboring a fear of both of them, especially my older sister Velzard. I could recall the countless times she killed me in the name of education. Reflecting on it, I realized it was my fault for recklessly destroying cities. Looking back, I felt a twinge of guilt for all the cities I obliterated. Living with Rimuru in his country, Tempest, showed me the value that every civilian placed on their homes. I had fun in Tempest, and now, contemplating the cities I had laid to waste, I genuinely felt remorse for the lives disrupted.Still, I prefer to steer clear of my sisters in this timeline as much as possible because, let's face it, dying is a real pain in the ass.

Veldora: Brother, I'm going to explore the world you have created. Any ideas on where I should go first?

Veldanava: Well, right now there aren't many places to explore since civilization hasn't been around for very long. But if you want, you should go to the Forest of Jura to train. It would be wise to hone your new powers and learn how to control them.
