50 years later
Veldora was in his house, recently built within his cave. It was a simple log cabin constructed solely from wood. While he wasn't as skilled in building houses as the dwarfs, it suited him well enough for living. The one-story house consisted of a living room, kitchen, and bedroom, with Veldora being the sole inhabitant. Currently, he lay on his bed, feeling exhausted. The reason for his fatigue was his intervention in a dispute within his forest. The lizardmen and the orcs were at odds over territory. Typically, Treyni would handle such disputes, but Veldora wanted to take on the responsibility himself. He sought to improve his diplomatic skills, feeling inadequate in that area during his time in Rimuru's country, where he mostly followed orders. Wanting to be more useful to Rimuru and alleviate his burden for the future, Veldora decided to assist in resolving the dispute. However, he hadn't anticipated how draining it would be to navigate the desires of two different races.
Veldora's mind drifted back to the tense negotiations he had conducted earlier that day. The lizardmen and orcs had both presented compelling arguments for why they deserved the disputed territory, and Veldora had struggled to find a compromise that satisfied both parties.
But in the end, Veldora had to use some of his powers to increase the size of the Great Jura Forest, as he had no other solution to satisfy both parties.
As Veldora pondered over the events of the day, he sensed a familiar presence approaching his cave. It was Luminous, the demon lord, someone who always visited him for unknown reasons. He was too exhausted to go greet her, so he sent a thought communication to her, inviting her to meet him inside.
Luminous walked through the door and headed straight towards the bedroom. As she entered, she saw Veldora lying on his bed, his eyes closed as if in deep thought. She approached him with a gentle smile.
Luminous: Veldora, are you ready to go?Veldora: (confused) Go where exactly?
Luminous: (a little irritated) Did you forget? You promised me that we would go shopping together.
Veldora: Oh yeah, I remember now. But can't we do this another day?
Luminous: (smiling) No, we're going today.
Veldora: But-
Luminous: No "buts," we're going today, unless the great storm dragon can't keep his promises.
Veldora: (getting up from his bed) Fine, let's go then.
Reluctantly, Veldora rose from his bed, still feeling the weight of exhaustion pressing down on him. He followed Luminous out of his bedroom and into the living room, where she waited patiently for him.
Together, they walked through the forest, Luminous leading the way and Veldora following suit. Even thought he was kind of exhausted he was not the type of guy to break a promise.
As they reached the edge of the forest and entered the nearby town, the town people were full of lively people.
For the rest of the day, Luminous dragged Veldora to various places. They first went to a clothing shop where Luminous tried on new clothes and showed them off to Veldora, asking for his opinions. She first wore a long black dress.
Luminous: (doing a 360) How do you like this?
Veldora: (scratching his head) Uh, it's nice, I guess? But can you fight in it?
Luminous: (exasperated) That's not what I meant! Do I look good in it?
Veldora then walked towards her, getting a closer look at the dress and circling around her. As he did, Luminous's face turned red, feeling flustered as Veldora was eyeing her closely.
