Temporal Redemption: Veldora's Journey Through Time

1 week before Rimuru Arrives 

One week before Rimuru's arrival, Shizu was summoned by Lukuto to meet him in a secluded room located in Ingrasia. As she entered, she saw Lukuto intently working on an artificially created human.

Shizu: Lukuto, I'm here.

Lukuto: (looking up) Oh, you're finally here. Good, come sit down on the chair over there.

Shizu walked over and sat on the chair next to Lukuto. She was curious about what he was doing with that body.

Shizu: So Lukuto, what are you doing over there with that body?

Lukuto: It's something that needs to be done, and I need your help with it.

Shizu: (smiling) Anything for you, Lukuto. So what do you need me to do?

Lukuto got up and walked towards Shizu with a syringe in his hands.

Lukuto: I need two things from you. Firstly, I need your blood, and secondly, I need one of your skills. I'm going to create a clone of you. I know you might be wondering why, but this is important and needs to be done. Please don't ask any more questions about this.

Shizu looked at Lukuto with a mix of surprise and concern, but she trusted him implicitly.

Shizu: (nodding) Alright, if you say it's important, then I'll do it.

Lukuto: (gently) Thank you, Shizu.

He carefully drew her blood and then extracted a portion of her skill. Shizu winced slightly but remained composed, watching Lukuto work with a focused intensity. She knew one of her skills was missing and it was the skill Degenerate. She didn't ask any question but just trusted Lukuto. 

Lukuto: (finishing up) There, it's done. Thank you, Shizu. This will play a crucial role in the days to come.

Shizu: (softly) I trust you, Lukuto. I hope this helps in whatever you're planning.

Lukuto: I also need you to leave Ingrasia for a while and do some traveling. In two months' time, I want you to head to the Kingdom of Brumund. When you get there, you'll meet three adventurers who are on a mission to go to the Great forest of Jura. I want you to follow them and don't help them too much. 

Shizu: Okay. But what about you? Can you come with me?

Lukuto: No can do. I have something really important to take care of in the meantime, so you'll need to do this on your own.

Shizu: (pouting) Come on, Lukuto, we haven't had time to adventure around lately, and I miss it.

Lukuto: (patting her head) KUHAHAHAHA. Don't worry, soon we can do more fun stuff. But for now, please do this.

Shizu: You promise?

Lukuto: KUHAHAHAHA. I promise.

Shizu: (sighing) Alright, I'll do it. I'll head out tomorrow.

Lukuto: (smiling warmly) Thank you, Shizu. Be safe out there. And remember, I'll always be watching over you.

Shizu: (nodding) I know. I'll make you proud.

With that, Shizu left the room. Lukuto continued with his work, first administering the blood he had taken from Shizu into the human body. Immediately after, he inserted the skill Degenerate into the body.

Lukuto: (thinking aloud) Alright, phase one is complete. Now for the next step.

He looked at the artificial human, now taking the form of a young woman with brown hair and black eyes. It was a near-perfect replica, yet distinct enough to not be immediately recognized as Shizu.
