Two young children were playing around with each other, but then there was a distortion in the world as the two of them were sucked into a gate. The world around them twisted and contorted as they were pulled into the swirling vortex. Colors blurred together, and the sensation was like being caught in a whirlwind of energy. Yet, through it all, the two children held tightly onto each other's hands.

However, the energy was too strong for the two children, and they let go of each other, both knocked unconscious as they were separated. As the older one woke up, he found himself in a strange and unfamiliar realm. The landscape was unlike anything he had ever seen before, with towering mountains, shimmering lakes, and forests that seemed to stretch on for miles.

The boy: (panicked) Chloe! Chloe! Where did you go?

The boy's heart raced as he called out for his friend, his voice echoing. His mind raced with worry, imagining all sorts of terrible fates that could have befallen her. But he refused to give in to despair. With determination burning in his chest, he set off in search of Chloe. His name was Leon.

(5 years after Leon arrived in the world and 10 years after Veldora and Luminous went on a date)

Sylvia: Leon, so you're leaving now?

Leon: Yes, I have to go looking for Chloe now.

Sylvia: But before you go searching for this Chloe person, I suggest you visit the Dwelling of the Spirits.

Leon: Why? What would I gain from going there?

Sylvia: You'll understand once you arrive. Trust your master for once.

Leon: Fine.

Reluctantly, Leon nodded, trusting Sylvia's wisdom despite his skepticism. But before he could leave the kingdom, he was stopped.

Elmesia: Where are you going, Leon?

Leon: I'm going to the Dwelling of the Spirits.

Elmesia: Did Mother tell you to go there?

Leon: Yes, she did.

Elmesia: I see. Farewell, Leon.

Leon did not respond but left.

(timeskip to Dwelling of the spirits)

Leon entered the Dwelling of the Spirits, where he was greeted by the pixie Ramiris, who was the queen of the spirits. Initially, Leon didn't believe her authority, as she appeared weak and tiny. However, upon seeing the multitude of spirits surrounding her, he had no choice but to acknowledge her as the queen.

Ramiris: (acting gracefully) Young traveler, you came all this way to make a contract with a spirit, did you not?

Leon: Not really, I was told to come here by my master.

Ramiris: I see, she must have sent you here for a reason.

Veldora: (laying sideways) Ramiris, stop acting like that. It doesn't suit you one bit.

Ramiris: Shut up, Master. It's been a while since a human visited me.

Leon blinked in surprise, realizing he couldn't sense this person's presence until he spoke. It was as if he didn't even exist. Leon had been taught that every being in this world had magicules, yet this man lying on his side had none. Deep inside, Leon knew he was not to be trifled with, as crossing him could mean instant death.

Ramiris: Look what you've done to him, Master. The boy is now scared because of you.

Veldora: (confused) I didn't do anything, though. I'm not even releasing a single bit of magicules.
