Couple of days later

Great Forest Of Jura

Four people were running through the forest, pursued by four red giant ants. Three of them were screaming and running for their lives, while one was trailing behind, keeping an eye on the situation. The ants were gaining on them, their speed increasing with every moment.

Just as the ants were about to catch up, the masked hero, Shizu, stopped in her tracks. In a blur of motion, she swiftly cut down three of the ants in a matter of seconds. As she prepared to strike down the last one, a bolt of black lightning came down from nowhere, obliterating the final ant in one hit.

The source of the lightning was a blue slime.

Rimuru: (bouncing forward) Are you all alright?

Eren: (catching her breath) That was... incredible! Thank you!

Kaval: (staring in disbelief) What... what just happened?

Gido: (looking at Rimuru) A slime? Did... did you do that?

Shizu: (removing her mask slightly, revealing a gentle smile) Thank you for your assistance. We owe you.

Rimuru: (grinning) No problem at all! I'm just glad I could help. My name's Rimuru.

Eren: I'm Eren, and these are my companions, Kaval and Gido. And this is Shizu, our newest member.

Kaval: (still in shock) How did a slime...?

Rimuru: (chuckling) Let's just say I'm not your average slime. It's nice to meet you all.

Rimuru POV

Meeting her sooner than I thought, I couldn't help but be struck by how beautiful she was. So this is the person I am destined to be with, I thought. She is freaking hot if I say so myself.

I led them all back to my town and placed them in a small house we had recently built. Curious about how they were settling in, I decided to check on them. As I approached, I could hear an argument about the food being served.

Kaval: Hey, damn it! I wanted that meat!

Eren: What a jerk! I raised that meat myself, you know!

Kaval: Listen! I won't yield when it comes to food!

I walked in to see what was happening. Inside, I found the three of them eating like a pack of hyenas that hadn't seen food in a month. They glanced at me briefly before returning to their meal. Shizu, the masked girl, was eating more normally, though she still had her mask on. It seemed like she was teleporting the food into her mouth somehow. The other three seem familiar to me.

Great Sage: You have encountered these individuals before. They were entering the cave as you were about to leave.

Ah, that's right. I did see them before. It all made sense now.

Rigurd: Allow me to make introduction. This is our master, the great Rimuru!

Eren/Kaval/Gido: (shocked) Master!?

Rimuru: You got a problem with that?

Kaval: Uh, no......

Eren: We knew you were no ordinary slime, but we had no idea.

That threw them for a loop. Maybe I should do something to show them I'm harmless. 

Rimuru: Nice to meet you! I'm Rimuru the slime! I'm not a bad slime! 

Shizu chuckled a little after I said that. Did she actually get the joke? 

Timeskip 

I was walking around when I noticed Shizu standing on a mountain cliff by herself. Curious, I approached her to see why she was alone up there.
