🎼
I was taken by surprise
It took a hold, it took me high
And I'm not ready to come down yet
The silence keeps on holding me back
You keep filling in the gap
So many roads
But you've got the map
🎼
I get to my room and switch on my phone. I am finally reading Khaya's response.
📨
Khaya: "I thought I had dry humour. What fuckery is this about you falling in love with a watch? A bloody fucken watch?"
Me: "Correction... a timepiece. Isn't it lovely?"
📨
I leave my phone on the charger and go take a shower while waiting for his response. I get out, put on some body butter and wear my pyjamas. I check my phone. There is no response, so I check the naughty group. Some chick has posted about how she finds it difficult to have phone sex. I respond that I also haven't had phone sex or sent nudes. Flirting chats, yes, but not a full-on phone sex chat that results in an orgasm. I read people's comments, get bored after a while, and decide to sleep.
It is morning, and we are having breakfast. In an hour, we are leaving this hotel and heading to Switzerland via Lake Como. I don't know what to expect, but it's been a great trip thus far. I get to my room to check if I'm all packed, and we head downstairs.
On the way, we are watching the 007 film 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service', set in Piz Gloria, located on top of Schilthorn, a 2,970 metre high summit in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland. The movie looks old, but I love James Bond. My favourites are Roger Moore, Sean Connery and Daniel Craig.
Before we reach the land of snow, we go past Lake Como, a stunning natural beauty surrounded by charming lakeside villages and historic villas, where rich people either come for vacation or buy holiday homes. On the bus alone, at least 35 women are hoping to spot George Clooney. Mara women are so naïve. Looking at this view, I totally understand why the rich and famous would come here for peace of mind. The lake is vast and steady. It flows on for miles on end, and the beautiful homes and yachts make you want to earn one through hard work, sweat and tears. Yes, I am referring to the office and bedroom work equally. There is no judgement here.
Throughout the journey towards the Swiss Alps, you notice that the waterfalls and streams freeze up. It is the most breathtaking view to observe. These mountains have lots of water reserves that flow freely. I wonder if it's ice flowing as water as it melts or if the higher you go, the more natural water freezes into snow. Whatever the reason, it is spectacular to look at.
We have stopped on the side of the road that is covered in snow. Most of us take off our shoes to feel the snow barefoot, but not Nkele. She is walking in her cute pink slippers with unicorns on top. We all take turns taking pictures. When it's my turn, I fall on my bum, and Nkele is busy laughing at me. Nearby, in the middle of the snow, for some reason, lies a small flowing stream.
It is my turn to take pictures of Nkele. She decides to go for a jump shot, and her left slipper jumps with her right into the stream. I fell on my back, legs up, laughing out loud right after capturing each moment, including the shock on her face. It was a priceless moment, I tell you. The rest of the group convinces her to throw in her remaining slipper and make a wish. She surrenders to the suggestion. We take a group picture and proceed to Switzerland.
Here we are, in the land of Swiss chocolate, and I love every bit of it. Chocolate, aura, look and feel and surprisingly, the cold weather too. Have you ever been to a place and thought I could live here? Well, that's me right now. We walk around the city centre a bit after check in. We have 2 hours before dinner, so we continue exploring.
