Narrator POV:

After the dust had settled and the Bandits lie there, either dead or unconscious, Adora walked over to one of them

"Now then...would you like me to tell you what mistake you have committed?" she asked, reloading the Revolver

"...please...we just wanted..." he muttered, his lungs slowly filling with blood

"I know what you wanted...I used to have so much mercy for fools like you" without waiting another moment, she ended his life with a clean shot through his Eye, to the horror of Catra. She couldn't believe that the Woman who had always talked about how she could help everybody around her, could execute someone, while looking close to bored. The princess turned around "Damn it, making ammunition is a pain in the Ass...Adam, anyone left?"

"...I took care of them" he said, cleaning his sword of any remaining blood

"hmm...come on, People, we've got a long road ahead" she walked over to the Camels, all but Catra following her

"...a lot of things can change in two years..." Adam muttered, walking past the hybrid, not looking at her

"...this much?" she thought but followed soon after

8 Days later, the exhausted group reached the border of Sahar. Heat and strain had shown their mark on them and only Catra was still in top shape

"We severely underestimated the Desert" Adam said, relieved to see the Border Checkpoint

"Yes...shit..Catra, your turn" Adora said, giving Catra the documents to prove that they were here on a trading mission. Luckily for them, the Guards only took an uninterested glance at them and waved them through. The border town, named Rashi, was a tiny trade hub that had a similar setup to the one in Greenvale "the call of commerce knows not to spurn any species" the princess remarked as they walked through the small village. The whole thing had been draped with a fine cloth to lessen the impact of the blazing Sun and vendors selling fresh fruit were everywhere to quench the thirst of the Travelers

"Hard to believe that there is a big enough marked for so many traders...I always thought only officials and the like would come here" Lonnie remarked, sounding tired

"The Beast tribes are a fascination for many but few go further than here and we got about a days travel left till we reach Sertha"

"Wanna find a place to rest first?" Adam asked, just as tired as Lonnie

"Yeah..probably a good idea to spent the night here and ride out early tomorrow, before the Midday Sun"

Finding a Hotel was a simple matter and after a quick talk, they got two rooms, which was Adam's idea. He pulled his sister aside while they went upstairs "You got time now to talk to her"

"We...already talked"

"You saw her Face after we dealt with the Bandits? Talk to her or lose her again, your choice" he said, walking to the door "but this time, you won't be able to blame mother" Adora grumbled a bit but accepted the offer of her Brother, joining Catra in the room.

Do you know the secret of Time travel? While controlling a mere fraction of it let her not slip it's clutches whole but just walking into the room, seeing Catra stand there, uncertain, hopeful and shy, Adora was transported into the past when they were mere 13 years of Age and she just come to understand what her feelings for the young Girl were

"Hey.."

"..." Adora knew what she wanted to say but had no clue where to start. How does one manage to put the feelings of confusion, Love, longing and hurt into a conversation without sounding accusatory or desperate? Before she could make up her mind, Catra asked first
