TW: Mentions of R*pe
Narrator POV:
Darkness and unknown surrounded Adora, princess of Bright moon and she awoke with her last knowledge being on Best Island, in the ruins of Tualandra and finding the Body of her Father who had turned to stone "Where... where am I?" she muttered. As if just uttering the words made the world come to life, a small light appeared far above her, illuminating the vicinity.
Surrounding her were several small Islands of rock and dust, all floating through the void of Stars and weird shaped that made no sense to her "Im... not on Etheria anymore, that's for sure"
"Smart as the rumors say" a deep, husky voice came from behind her and when Adora turned around she was a young Woman with frizzled black Hair, modern clothes that she had seen in her dreams a few times and Headphones around her neck. Her sassy grin and lax demeanor were eye catching but put the princess on edge "Greetings, Anomaly and Welcome in the Sea of Origin"
"Sea of... What did you just call me?"
"Anomaly? That's what you are, an odd piece of the puzzle, a thing that shouldn't exist or possesses traits it better didn't"
"Who... are you?"
"Call me Haru, Goddess of Time and Space but who I am doesn't need to concern you. I've brought you here to see why you can control time" the young Woman stepped up to Adora, each step and every Action of hers exuding an aura of confidence, as if she didn't care who in the World was looking at her. Adora never felt anything like this, a Person who felt as if she could erase Adora from existence with just a thought and without a shred of hesitation, should she feel compelled to do so.
"I-isn't it just my Magic? We all get one after all, a trait that develops based on our nature or caused due to strong emotions and trauma that we face at a young age"
"True, full points.... but time magic or Chronomancy, is never an option for Mortals, no matter the circumstances"
"It... isn't?" Now, Adora was intrigued. She never questioned why she had the ability to control time, even in her limited capacity but now that Haru had mentioned it, it did seem a bit too powerful to be in the hands of mortals and their flawed convictions "Then how did I come to be a... Chronomancer?"
"Let's see..." Harus body started to glow in a slightly blue color "Out of every timeline, in every universe, only you developed the ability to alter time... no mortal should ever possess this kind of power. We or rather I, need to figure out why that is the case" she explained and stretched her arms out. A slight blue wave of something they had no idea of, shot through them both, surrounding only the princess after a while "Woah... that's not right" she muttered, seemingly directing the energy to flow back into her "You're... Human, right?"
"Last time I checked"
Haru suddenly disappeared and appeared right in front of Adora, so close she could smell her fruity breath "What are you?"
"... uncomfortable?"
"You're not just Human, that's for sure..."
"Im... not? Preposterous, I know my Parents"
Haru touched Adoras cheek and carressed it, more intrigued than having any kind of sexual intentions behind it "Perhaps you know who raised you but not the one that caused your birth... I will need to investigate your past more thoroughly to be certain" before Adora could even comprehend what had just been revealed, Haru snapped her fingers, letting the sound reverberate loudly around her. When she next opened her eyes, Adora was back on the Island, staring at her Fathers frozen body, a disembodied voice echoing in the distance "Try not to get yourself killed in the meantime, Anomaly"
