I made the national news. Foley Gooberstat was apparently some really important big wig in the big wig circles. The old man had tracked me down. Not personally, of course. That's a job for the assistant to the big wig and offered sincere thanks and undying gratitude.
They said I was a hero.
I said I was just trying to help.
Foley, who was planning an extended vacation at his luxury villa on the coast of Spain but would be unable to travel due to his extensive injures and long recovery time, sent me two tickets and the key to my new home-away-from-home for the next three months.
Me and mama are having the time of our lives. The people here are wonderful. The cuisine is fantastic. And the view is nothing short of paradise.
I could really get used to how the other half lives.
