The two were basking in the evening sun that filtered through the flimsy curtains.
"This little place reminds me so much of the one we spent our honeymoon in at Riker's Ridge, Harbor."
"Yeah," said Harbor, smiling like a possum. "So many of the motor courts have closed. Folks just don't know what they've lost. Them big old hotels don't have have the atmosphere that a place like this does."
"Atmosphere," Jess said. "Why, Harbor. You really are a romantic at heart, aren't you?"
"Yeah," he said. "The sensitive type. That's me. And Jess . . ."
"Umm."
"You're right."
"About what?"
"Your lady parts ain't been damaged by that motorcycle seat at all."
"Your parts neither," Jess said.
