Roosevelt Harper was re-elected mayor for the umpteenth term. At the celebration parade, Hedgia sat beside Rouse as he proudly steered the septic truck down Main Street. Tied to the side of the yellow truck and draped in its long black hoses was a twenty foot banner of Roosevelt Harper for Mayor.
Rouse thought the picture of his brother's smiling face had never looked better. And neither had his truck, come to think of it.
