We ended up not leaving today because once we landed in New York we would be sitting in the airport for 5 HOURS before we got on the next flight and then we would have to take a flight after that. So basically we wouldn't be home until 9:00 and we woke up at 7:30 this morning, talk about a long day.
My grandparent live 5 minutes away from the airport so when we arrived we said goodbye maybe because we knew we might not have gone on the flight. We go through security and all that, then we go sit in front of our gate waiting for flight which left at 10:48 but here's the thing it was only 9:08(UUUGGGHH). About 20 minutes later my mom said we should just wait until tomorrow because of the wait once we land.
So the hardest part, getting our checked luggage back. Once we got back to the place where we checked our bags and we called our grandpa to come pick us back up. My grandpa couldn't park at the front of the airport so he had to drive around in circles for 30 minutes while they take forever to get our luggage. Then we finally loaded up and now we are just waiting until tomorrow.
