So the first part of this rant is actually from Saturday but I never got the chance to finish and post it so I'll tell you when we're back to today's rant
~~~
Yep like I've been mentioning I'm going to tell you how Friday went. I was going to go in for the stations in science but unfortunately I didn't get to do that because there was no way I could get there in the morning, so I have to find sometime next week before Wednesday to do them. I came to school with my normal ride and we got there a little earlier than usual, which was great because I needed to drop my uniform off in the orchestra room. I would've worn it to school but I have athletics 1st period and I didn't want to put my uniform in my locker and try to change in and out of it, because it would have just been a mess. Then I went to 1st period and we had a fun day because we all actually all tried this week (the fun day is an award for us for working hard or that week), our fun day was soccer. There is usually a game that goes on whenever there is an ball involved during athletics (or P.E. when we had it) called "Knock Out Nayla" , basically the ball always comes and hits Nayla when there is one, but Friday I took the fall for her, it became "Knock Out Kayla" (doesn't have the same ring to it tho). Yep I got pegged in the face with the soccer ball, luckily no black eye or broken nose, and i9t only stung for a few seconds, but the ball made this really sound when it rebounded off my face.
BTTWWAANNGGGGGG
(I won't explain 2nd period because it wasn't that exciting) After 2nd was over Shannan and I went to her locker to grab er backpack that she had and raced to the orchestra room, because I had to hurry and change so I was there in time to rehearse. It was mass chaos in the orchestra room because the symphony kids were in there because 3rd period wasn't chamber's class it was symphonies. I was trying to step over people, unpack and put my instrument away without hurting myself or anyone else. After all of that we rehearsed and loaded the bus to leave, THERE WERE POPTARTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We arrived and ate Jason's Deli for lunch with our pickles and the rest of the competition was like Ann Roberts, watching groups perform, performing, but we had sight reading, which we did AMAZING on, and after we finished we had to watch more groups perform while we waited for our bus to arrive.
Our director was going to tell us our results when we got on the bus, so everyone got super excited. Everybody who didn't go home with there parents raced to the bus so we could hear how we did.
Once everyone was on the bus and quiet, our director told us...
WE GOT A 6
OUT OF 6 BRUH...
FIGHT US
If you don't understand, what it is, is the judges rate us 1-4, 1 being AMAZING and 4 being icky, there are 3 judges for sight reading and 3 for our main performance. ALL of the judges gave us 1's which means they thought we were OUTSTANDING, YAYYYYY!!!!!!!!!
Back to today's rant
~~~
So today was the typical Monday, first period we actually got to do something fun today because it was raining outside, MAT BALL, but there was no "Knock Out Nayla".
Second period we have to do this project on greek gods and goddesses, where we have to take a real god and put it against a god/goddess we get to make up. The real goddess I got was Athena, goddess of war and wisdom. I have major writers block and can't think of a single thing, there was one idea, but I feel bad because I didn't come up with it myself, but it's still in the back of my mind.
Third period was stressful trying to finish the stations for science.
Fourth period was fun because we got new music, the song we looked at today is one where we have to pluck the whole thing, at the end of class my finger was purple (I don't think that's normal but whateves). Then we found out we get to play for the NJHS induction ceremony, which I'm kind of excited for, I also can't wait to find out the rest of the pieces we get to play.
Fifth, sixth and seventh period were not exciting because they were filled with boring work and tests, I also found out I have a test tomorrow and one on Wednesday, which I'm not looking forward too, ugh.
And then I stayed after school to finish the stations which I need to finish tomorrow in class, not looking forward to that either.
Well unfortunately I have homework to do for these classes so byeee.
