Alone In The Castle
Divination went on as usual, Willow chose to ignore the taunts students gave to Professor Trelawney.
Sure, she was not for the light-hearted. She was strange, loud, and smelt weird some days, but she was also curious and kind.
Sure, she predicted that Willow would live a long unhappy life if she 'followed the ways of the lonely' in her third year in the form of a rectangle and went on with her day like it was nothing.
Willow still found her charming and polite, enjoying her as she jumped around the room in excitement.
Maeve and Draco always had a smart comment about her when they came from her class at different times, talking of how bat crazy she was.
She also enjoyed the astrology aspect of it, as well as predicting the future. Even though, her future didn't appear so bright.
"Bloody mad, she is. How are you going to tell me I'm probably going to die in a fire and continue the class?" Maeve ranted, throwing her bag over her shoulder.
Willow and Anita couldn't help but snicker at her comment, choosing not to believe such predictions.
"I find her fascinating," Anita mumbled, rumbling around in her brown bag. Maeve groaned in response.
"Of course you do." She responded afterward, wandering towards the direction of their Transfiguration class.
McGonagall, one of her favorite teachers, stood tall outside the classroom. They watched as she spoke, not understanding the words, and gestured away.
"Good afternoon, McGonagall," Willow said gently, rubbing her toes against her Mary-Jane's. Anita and Maeve followed her greeting.
"Hello girls, class is somewhere else today. Follow those two." She pointed to two other sixth-year girls who appeared to be giggling.
They thanked her and followed accordingly, not sure exactly where they were headed. Before long, they found themselves in a room full of different ages.
They found a seat next to Genevieve Vogler, the fifth-year Willow had seen some time ago in the Astronomy tower.
"What's going on?" The blonde asked as she sat down next to her, placing her items into her lap. Genevieve turned to her, a large smile forming over her face.
"The rumor is we're getting a dance." Her voice was delicate and dainty. "Something along the lines of Bule Ball? Tule Ball? Yule Ball?"
