(long chapter ahead)
Sneaking out was never a possibility in her head, but neither was having a boy in her room the night prior.
Maybe this is what being seventeen was. Maybe, sneaking out and sneaking around with pretty boys equaled more to life than just dreading being seventeen.
Willow pressed her hands against her black dress for the 30th time, trying to flatten out any wrinkles or imperfections, it was also a nervous tick for her.
Her usually straightened hair was more wavy now for she'd left her favorite straightener back at Hogwarts. No matter how hard she tried to tame her hair, it wouldn't budge. She eventually just gave up and started wishing that she wouldn't be mistaken for a puffball.
The clock above her vanity felt bigger than ever as it clicked and mocked her, showing a frightening 8:50 on it.
"You can do this, you won't get in trouble and you won't get caught." She mumbled to herself in the mirror, fixing her long earrings in her reflection.
Thank Merlin her father wasn't here and her mother was a creature of habits. She was always in bed by 9 and did her good nights by 8:30, usually echoing small snores through the walls by 9:30.
"No one will ever know." She whispered one more time, stuffing her purse with lip gloss and lip liners. She can do this.
A huge impact that played into her mind was wondering if Cedric would be there. If George and Fred were there, would their silly sidekick be attached to them also? Or did he decide sneaking out wasn't worth it?
Any chance to see Cedric now was something she couldn't pass up because she felt like this thing they were doing still had gaps to fill and questions that needed answers.
That was definitely why she wanted to see him, not to stare directly into his enchanting eyes and catch a glimpse of his dimpled smile. She'd never let that be her driving reason. Never!
Without allowing a second thought to creep up, she opened her window as slowly as possible and peeped her head to the ground.
Has it always been this high up? Has she always been Rapunzel in her castle, sleeping miles up from the ground?
It wasn't time to back out now, it was now or never. With a large breath of air being released and doing a quick breathing exercise, she climbed out and grabbed onto the ivy beside her window.
