Days flew as if they were minutes and suddenly it was the day of the second task. The group of young students spent a lot of time together behind closed doors and before they knew it, they were closer than ever before.

If anyone were to pay close attention they'd notice the new group together but if you weren't watching them every second, you wouldn't even see Willow was a part of it.

Sure, Maeve, Fred, Anita, and George weren't in a secret relationship, but they weren't exactly the cover of Hogwarts newspaper. They spent time in the library with one another or sometimes sat together in the courtyard, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Those 4 were obnoxious together but somehow managed to fade into the crowd, it was quite easy not to shine at Hogwarts. But when it came to Willow, if you were paying attention, she was missing most of the time.

Sure, she'd sit with them often but still spent most of her time in Cedric's room or somewhere hiding on campus with him. She even would wear her hood up when walking into the Hufflepuff common room, trying her best not to be recognized.

Something about it was thrilling to Cedric and Willow. Though, Cedric often dreamed of loving her in public. He knew it would all come together one day, and soon his dream would come true, but it was still in the back of his mind always.

However, the rush of not being caught and being so secretive was still there, causing their relationship to be full of more sparks than ever before.

They'd giggle like school girls when someone walked by, also wondering if this was the time they'd get caught or not. They never did. It still felt new and nerve-wracking, no matter how many weeks it had already been.

On the outside, it seemed as if Willow Malfoy and Cedric Diggory didn't often speak to one another anymore. Maybe, they had a falling out, or possibly they were never really friends in the first place.

On the inside,  only for very few to know, they were full of deep kisses and whispered promises. Every waking moment that they could spend together was spent together, falling more into each other's eyes every day.

It came to the point where Cedric couldn't picture a time without her anymore. He could barely remember the chase and how desperately he wanted to get to know her because all of that was replaced with facts about her.

How she liked her coffee, how she loved the color pink, how she looked when she danced, or how she laughed so hard she snorted.

He knew how to make her laugh so hard she cried, he knew what made her cry, and he knew what made her become the girl she was today.
