Willow wasn't expecting much for her sixth year at Hogwarts, the most stimulating part was going to be actually studying things she wanted to.

Everyone had the same ole face, yet somewhat different, and the same ole ways. Suddenly, all of it felt so bland and boring to her. She had her friends, which was all she needed, but she was growing tired.

It was only the first day back and she was already thinking such nasty, dull thoughts. Anything to get away from my father, though, she thought.

Seeing the first years get sorted into their houses was always a treat. Seeing their faces glow as the sorting hat screamed out a house, forcing a new stereotype on them the second they sit down.

She could remember the day it happened to her, she was excited and pure back then, ready to face whatever came her way. She reminisced on the innocence, letting it linger for a bit.

After the hype had died down and everyone ate their food, the Great Hall had erupted into loud chatter.

Everyone spoke of their summers, how much they missed one another, how so and so did this or that.

Maeve and Anita often over stayed their welcome with Willow at the Malfoy Manor, but she enjoyed the company, so seeing them at Hogwarts was nothing special.

As she got up to head to her dormitory, grabbing all her things and fixing her hair, she glanced around the room to make sure Draco had found his place.

He did, sitting with his usual crew, giving hard scowls and reminding her of their father. The thought gave her body a cold chill, she began thinking of ways to prevent such to happen.

"Willow, look," She didn't realize Maeve had stood up beside her, giving Willow a soft jump. "There's your new boyfriend."

Willow looked up to see Cedric Diggory in her direct view, who was also standing and talking to a few students.

He was apparent, she noticed how Cedric couldn't help but make eye contact with the person he was talking to, and then to her direction.

There was no way he was looking at her, they hadn't spoken since their third year, at least until the World Cup.

Even during that conversation, it was only about borrowing a quill from him. Of course, with no hesitation, he gave her one with a smile.

She could count on one hand how many times they gave each other polite smiles during class change, or acknowledged the others presence.
