"By now you've all heard the rumor. And unfortunately, it's true. The grounders are coming. We have a difficult decision to make. Thankfully, chancellor Jaha has found his way back to us. And we're discussing all options." Abby told the crowd as Sophia and Matt kept glancing at each other.

This is so stupid.

"But to be safe." Jaha dramatically cut in as walked around. "You need to pack. Now." He obviously loves the attention. Sophia rolled her eyes. "Whatever you can carry. We may need to leave at a moments notice."

Sophia scoffed. what would Gwen do. "Where will we go?" She asked Jaha. Gwen would definitely ask that. Right?

"I don't know is the answer." People whispered among themselves. "But i heard of a place. A city of light. It's just across the dead zone." Jaha explained.

Liam crossed his arms. "And what makes you think we'll make it there?" He asked from his spot.

"Because we made it here. " he turned to all the other people. Oh god not a speech. Sophia was tired of speeches. "I have faith. And right now, given the alternative. That's good enough for me."

Clarke looked at Matt who nodded. "Speak up." He whispered. Clarke stepped forward. "Not for us!" She said causing everyone'a heads to snap her way. "If we leave here what happens to our people in mount weather?"

"As your mother said. That is a very difficult decision to make." He stared down Clarke. Then looked away. "But the time has come for each and every one of us to ask is this how the story of our people ends?" She started a speech. I mean good for her for speaking out but I can only handle so many speeches. Sophia cringed. "Did we come all this way just to die tomorrow? Because if we're not gone by the time the sun rises, that is exactly what will happen." Jaha continued. Everyone gasped and whispered as they looked around.

"No decisions been made." Abby started as she held her head up. "In the meantime, please report to your station supervisor and gather emergency supplies." People once again started to whisper but this time they moved.

Sophia turned to Matt. "That took forever." He raised a brow. "It wasn't that bad."

"That made me want to float myself."

"Well than that honestly just seems like a you problem." He mockingly replied with a smirk.

Brandon walked up to the two. "Hey have you seen Gwen? I really need to talk to her."

Matt looked at Sophia then back to Brandon. "I saw Bellamy walk through here but I haven't seen Octavia or Gwen since earlier, my guess is something happened out there."

Brandon sighed. "Why does something always happen when Gwen's involved?"

"She just attracts stuff apparently all of our people do." Sophia said as she raised her hands and looked around. "I mean all our people have done is made mistakes and caused bad things to happen. We killed grounders which caused them to try and kill us."

"Ok." Matt started as he watched Sophia raise her voice. "Chill, your going to freak people out if your too loud."

Sophia shrugged and walked away. "She's a loose cannon." He stated as he pointed at her over his shoulder. "What happened to y'all down here anyway?"

Matt shook his head. "just watched some of our people die brutally right in front of us as we tried to survive without much food in a camp we built from scratch with limited protection."

Brandon crossed his arm. "Ok I knew it was bad but how brutal are we talking?"

"It really doesn't matter B. It's not something I want to relive, anyway I should go." He patted Brandon's arm. "See you later."
