Gwen walked outside and saw the guard being rude to grounders. She and Octavia went to them. "Hey the chancellor and my father told Nyko we would help them!"

The guard looked at the two girls. "You're apart of them. You help them inside." And so they did. She grabbed one of the girls arms and put it over her shoulder. "Come on."

She looked and saw Matt with a bottle going inside. She squinted her eyes at first but she was sure it was him. She sighed heavily and continued to help the woman inside.

She hadn't talked to him since she found out. She hadn't talked to any of them.

After she helped them in she decided to skip the Mount weather memorial. Mainly because Daisy would've hated it. And because it gave her more time to plot.

She walked back outside where she seen a distressed Tanya. "What is it?"

"We have to go right now. Lexa is fighting the Ice  nations prince Roan." Gwen looked at Tanya and nodded as they left through the hole in the gate. They took off and got onto the horses Tanya brought.

After a long ride the two of them made it back to polis. "Over there!" Tanya directed as they left their horses to go meet Layla.

"Where's the commander?" Gwen asked frantically. Layla pointed to her. "Over there, come on."

The all waited in the front by Lexa before Clarke rushed out. She spoke to the commander then turned to Gwen. "What are you doing here?"

The latter scoffed. "Really think I'd miss a fight like this? Besides I didn't really feel like listening to pike speak about my best friend who blew up."

Clarke nodded and hugged her. "I'm sorry about Daisy."

"It's fine." She didn't want to let her guard down not in polis. " let's just watch the fight."

Lexa had it, she had the fight in the bag. Gwen knew this. But still it kinda surprised her whenever Lexa had Roan pinned to the floor with a spear. But instead of killing Roan. Lexa threw the spear and hit queen Nia.

Gwen gasped. "Oh my god. She just got hotter." Clarke turned to her with confusion and concern. "Sorry." The blonde muttered.

"The queen is dead!" Lexa turned slowly to Roan. "Long live the king!" Everyone started cheering and chanting.

Gwen looked to Layla. "Glad I didn't miss this. I would've been sad if I did."

Layla smirked. "Me too. I almost let Nicole talk me into not coming.." Tanya tapped both of them and guided them away.

"Gwen I have to get you home. Your friends radioed. Let's go." Gwen agreed and hugged Clarke. "Please be safe out here. And Clarke I'm warning you now. I think Pike is dangerous and Lexa should be weary of him. As should we." She nodded and allowed Gwen to leave.

Gwen returned and when she did she saw Lincoln with a knife to one of Pikes followers and Octavia beside him. Opposite from them was Bellamy, Pike and the rest of his groupies. "What the hell is happening?"

Charles ordered his people to put down their guns and they obliged. Gwen looked at her father and he adverted his eyes to Lincoln. "It's alright Lincoln. Let him go."

Marcus walked up to his daughter. "We'll talk about your behavior later young lady." He scolded. She looked around her as if he could be talking to someone else. "I didn't even do anything." She muttered as she watched the situation unfold in front of her.

"Guards! Take them to lockup. Now." Abby ordered before turning to the rest of the people. "Everybody, back to your quarters. It's over."

Pike scoffed. "Nothing is over. We are surrounded by warriors who want us dead." Gwen couldn't believe he actually believed what he was saying. He had bad run ins with Azgeda as did most people and now he's branding all grounders.
