Gwen and Clarke walked back to camp with two grounders and their horses. "Hold your fire! They're back!" Bellamy shouted.

The gate opened and the two girls walked in quickly. Finn jogged up to them. "Are you okay?" He asked Clarke. She is your not. Gwen thought with a frown.

"Shut the gate!" Clarke ordered completely ignoring Finn's question. She grabbed his arm and left Gwen behind.

Bellamy and Gwen made their way over to the two as they met up with Abby. "What did she say?" Both of the girls stayed silent. "Is there a chance for a truce?"

Gwen held Clarkes hand as she looked at Abby. "Yes."

"What's wrong?" Finn asked as he noticed the hesitation on both girls faces.

"They want you." Clarke said as she turned to him before looking back at her mom. "If we want a truce, we have to give them Finn."

Everyone started to whisper as Raven stepped forward. "What the hell are you talking about?"

"That's their offer." Clarke stated sadly.

Raven scoffed. "That's not an offer." Finn shook his head. "No, it's a punishment. For what happened at the village." He looked at Clarke. "Blood for blood."

"That's insane." Bellamy chimed in.

"If we refuse?" Abby asked. Gwen pursed her lips. "They will attack us." She said honestly.

People started to come closer as they told the group to give him to the grounders. Raven and Gwen pushed some back but got stopped by Clarke and Bellamy. "Nothing is going to happen to him. I promise." Clarke said to Raven.

Gwen leaned into Clarkes ear. "Careful, the tricky thing about promises.." she stopped making a shiver go down Clarkes spine. "They're easily broken."

"Spacewalker burned three months of oxygen from the ark. He should've floated a long time ago!" A guy yelled, others agreeing all around them.

Raven pushed him back, making Byrne go after her. "Reyes." She said but Raven turned and punched her. Gwen laughed. "I've been wanting someone to do that." She said but the other guards quickly grabbed Raven and took her away.

Gwen was walking with her mother into their home when her mother started to tell her how much of a burden she was and that she wished she never had her at all. "Just go to your room you little monster!" Christine screeched as Gwen cried.

"I hate you." She yelled back as she ran to her room in tears.

Gwen shook her head as she looked away from the crowd.

"Come on Gwen." Bellamy said as he grabbed her arm gently and pulled her away with him and Clarke.

The three walked up to Murphy and Finn. "Hey we're reinforcing all our defenses. Doubles on the perimeter. No ones getting passed that wire." Bellamy reassured Finn.

Finn stood. "I'll see where they're thin."

"No." Bellamy quickly intervened. "You should head inside. B corridor would be easier to defend, if it comes to that."

Gwen and Clarke nodded with Bellamy words. "I'm not gonna hide." Finn said as he stared at Clarke.

"Right now we have to think about keeping you safe." Clarke said as she stepped forward. "I'm going to go talk to Lincoln."

"Come on." Bellamy said as he turned. "Finn."

Murphy stood. "Hey. Any orders for me princesses?"
Clarke nodded as she faced him but Gwen still had her back to him. "Stay away from me." She said before turning away again.
