Silence -
complete absence of sound.

Gwen loved and hated silence. From a very young age she vividly remembers having a hate-love relationship with silence.

Her parents were always loud so she liked when their home was quiet. But there were times she learned that sometimes the silence was a bad thing. So it always depended on the situation.

However right now she would have to say she wished it was silent. Because Bellamy was really starting to annoy her and by the look on her face he was also annoying Indra.

"It's been three hours. What the hell are they waiting for?" Bellamy asked with disbelief. Like he hadn't been talking this whole time.

Gwen rubbed her eyes and shook her head softly. "Bellamy. Respectfully, shut up." She patted him with a soft smile.

He deadpanned and she looked to the ground. She didn't like to tell him to shut up like he does to her but he was really getting her upset.

"Even in the light I don't see anyone." Kane added. Gwen wanted nothing more than to be anywhere but where she was. Her headache was getting worse and the pain in her arm was starting to resurface again like it did from time to time.

Monty looked around. "I say we make a run for it."

Kane shook his head as he continued to look out the window. "No. That's what they want us to do."

Indra shared a look with Tanya before speaking. "The boy is right. They can wait longer than we can."

"Ok Bellamy, you get in the turret and cover us. Once we get to that ridge over there, we'll cover you." Kane explained. Gwen looks at them then made sure her gun was loaded.

"Copy that. Run fast." Gwen grabbed his arm and looked at him. "Be careful."

As soon as he stuck his head up they heard him say. "They're here."

"Everybody out or the boy dies."

As soon as the words left the guys mouth Gwen was jumping out of the rover with zero hesitation. She threw all her weapons, minus the knife in her boot, inside the rover. After a second the rest of them followed her actions.

As soon as everyone was out they were immediately thrown to the ground. Gwen thrashed before she gave up. "Monty let it go!" Was all Gwen could make out. She had hit her head on the ground and was only hearing ring in her ear. The guy restraining her was being very aggressive.

She saw Monty hugging one of the people who turned out to be his mother. "Farm station. Back down."

She groaned and turned onto her back as she slapped the guys hands away from her. "Pike." Her father's voice said from beside her.

"You have no idea how good it is to see you."

"We didn't think you made it." Kane replied before looking to his daughter who was holding her head. "Gwen? Are you alright?" He asked while helping her up. She nodded slowly.

Gwen walked over to Bellamy and he touched the side of her face softly. He wiped the dirt and blood. "Will you be okay?"

"Just peachy."

He nodded and the two walked back over to the two men in charge. "Hate to cut this short. But, we gotta find Clarke."

"Clarke griffin?" Gwen rolled her eyes. She always disliked pike. He had it out for her. She was always soo different so he made it his personal goal to bully her. "If only all my earth skills students were as good as her." He eyed Gwen as he finished his sentence.
