Happiness and despair

Gwen was beyond ecstatic. Sure they had so many problems at the moment. Like everyone in Arkadia being chipped, Allie trying to locate them, them having to find Luna and Ontari being the fake commander for the time being. But right now Gwen was so happy. She did it. She kissed Raven and Raven kissed her back. Twice.

She didn't know if Raven thought she was just kissing her because she was relived that she hadn't died but she had no room to care right now. Raven kissed her twice and now she was sitting in her lap.

Sure it's mostly because they didn't have much room but she could've sat in anyone's lap but she picked Gwen's. And right now Gwen was kinda spiraling. Because as happy as she is she's also slowly doubting herself. What if she only kissed me because she felt bad. What if she thinks of it as two little mistakes. Or what if she- her thoughts were cut short when Miranda faced her. "I'm happy you finally womaned up and kissed her."

"Womaned isn't a word."

Miranda rolled her eyes. "Who cares. You kissed Raven." She whispered.

Gwen nodded and just like that she was back to being the happiest person in the Rover. "Yeah I did." Just then Raven, who was talking to Sophia, rest her body against Gwen. The blonde snaked her arms fully around Ravens and held her.

Everyone was stealing glances at the duo. (they've all been waiting for the duo to get together.) Sophia was the only once who voiced her thoughts. "I'm just gonna say this because I know we're all thinking it. Fucking finally."

Raven raised a brow with a chuckle. "Finally? What are you talking about?"

Brandon and Sophia (Sophia is sitting on his lap.) exchanged knowing looks. "Um, Raven you're the smartest person in this rover hands down." The mechanic smiled at this. "But you're also so oblivious." He turned to Gwen. "Both of you."

Sophia nodded as she added. "Seriously, both of you were soo into each other and it took you forever to finally get together."

Both girls tensed. They haven't talked about labels. They've only kissed. Twice. Something Gwen will hold onto no matter what happens.

Everyone agreed with Sophia.

Gwen was quick to change the subject "We left poor Harper behind." She wrinkled her nose. "Unfortunately we also left Miller and Ben behind too." She rolled her eyes with disgust.

"What's with you and hating on Bryan?" Brandon asked with a raised brow.

Gwen loosened her grip around Ravens waist slightly. "Oh, is that his name?" She asked with an uninterested expression. "I'm not hating on him. He's, something." She nodded lightly.

Raven was chuckling lightly. Miranda nodded along. "It's because Millers hot. Gwen's always had a crush on him."

Gwen gasped. "Mindy! I told you that in confidence."

Clarke couldn't help but butt in. "You have a crush on a gay guy?"

"I mean have you seen him? Okay hear me out. I have a list." Gwen set her shoulders like she was about to fight.

Jasper who was sitting by their feet raised a brow. "A list?"

She nodded with a big grin. Miranda shook her head and groaned. Before Gwen could speak, Layla ordered Bellamy to stop the rover.

Bellamy obliged. Layla smiled at them. "As fun as this is. It's too crowded in here. Also I have to locate Nicole and inform her of Tanya and Lincoln's death."

Gwen nodded at her. She wanted to go but she also wanted to be with Raven. So she stayed.

Layla closed the doors and walked off. Gwen took a deep breath and nodded to herself. I'm making the right choice. I have to stay here, with my friends, with Raven.
