It was today. Tuesday.
I already forgot about Lucy, and I don't really care, to be honest.
Plus, my main focus is on Lee, now. I need to figure out how to deal with him. He needs a glow-up. So bad.
I'm telling you, if I just fix him, he's gonna be LIKABLE!!
Er....forget that. :)
"Hey, Sierra. What's up?" he told me.
"Heyy. So, now let's discuss what we're gonna do with your looks."
"Oh, yeah. So you told me to change the bob cut?"
"Yes, and put contact lenses. The glasses look filthy, no offense."
"Alright. I'll tell my mom to get me contacts."
"Sure. So, what's your number so I can add you on snap?"
"Er...I don't have snapchat..."
"Seriously!? How can you live without snap?!"
"I don't know. Mom doesn't want me to download any social media."
"What?!"
"I do have WhatsApp."
"K, I can work with that."
""Ok, let me add my number for you."
Then I met my friends. I was kind of pissed at them, for how they treated me. So I tried to avoid them.
I found a bush.
Nice spot!
Nah, they saw me. How much of a dumbo am I.
Then I heard Lee laughing.
Why is he laughing...?
"Hey, Lee. Hey, Sierra. What are you both doing at this time of day?" Lily cried, with a horrible-locking duck face. They both giggled.
"Cut it out, clowns. Let's get to class." I said.
"The first session is History." Molly told us.
"WHAT A COINCIDENCE!?" Molly cried, smiling widely.
How immature can they be!!
"Good morning, class. Today we're going to be working as partners. You are going to be cooperating in acting out a famous speech by Martin Luther King Jr, an American discrimination fighter, and the speech is I have a dream."
Fine, I guess. But we're a group of 3. Who's with who?!
We always had this little game where we had to yell, "PAIRS" out loud.
I so wanted to win on this one.
Just when Lily counted down, 1, 2, 3, I spotted Lucy making clown faces at me. Of course, that distracted me, so I ended up saying "Pairs" last.
SHOOT!!
I tried explaining to them about Lucy, but they wouldn't budge.
Lily said, "I'm sorry, but "pairs" says we're going together."
Then Lily awkwardly smiled, "Sorry! I'll choose you next time, I promise!"
Just great.
I absolutely HATE it when it comes to pairing up with people because it's all about their loyalty.
THAT THEY LACK!!
Anyway, while everyone was paired up with everybody else, I was left isolated.
"Oh! Sierra, it's seems like it's the first time you're the odd one out."
That just made me feel a whole lot worse.
"You can go buddy up with Lee. Then the class is even."
Whatever.
I didn't really feel happy, but I didn't feel sad either. I still did want to be paired up with a girl, though.
It's way less awkward.
"Anyway, what is that dream thingy??" Lee asked.
"You don't know the speech?!!" I cried.
"Er...no.." he shrugged.
"It's like so famous!!"
"Instead of making me feel like a dumb person, teach it to me." he said.
So I started teaching it to the guy. It wasn't that long.
Then, everyone acted out the speech in front of the speech. And, I must say, Lily and Molly did well done, and so did the rest of the class.
And now it was just Lee and I.
Great!! :(
"Alright, so, er..." I stuttered.
"I have a dream," Lee started, nervously.
"that one day my four little children," I said, and I just couldn't hold from giggling.
"will one day live in a nation,"
"where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin,"
"but by the content of their character,"
"I have a dream today!" we both said at the same time.
Then, we heard a good round of applause. Lily's and Molly's were the loudest.
"I must say, you guys go well together." Mr.Galvin smiled.
Not again!!
Lee and I just shrugged.
