Once again, the Commander found himself in between a rock and a hard place. He was familiar with the concept of trouble, but oh how much he despised its frequency.
Dolla was leaning over his back, lazily staring into her scope as Rupee and Yan sat nearby.
Rapi was standing close beside the two, and Neon had to hold Anis back from tearing Dolla off him— but Guilty was single handedly doing that with two fingers.
"Why exactly are the Talentum group on the surface? They specialize in business, not combat." Rapi inquired, but the Commander's blank stare left no answer.
"Contract." He finally replied.
"You in debt?!" Anis finally escaped since Guilty decided she didn't care anymore. Anis snatched the Commander back and held him up in shock.
Ashamed of his height, he quickly freed himself and denied it. "No."
"It's simple, really. You all escort us to these coordinates and any profits we make will be split down the middle." Dolla smoothly placed her hand under the Commander's chin and forced his gaze upward.
"Damn, she's good." Neon muttered as Guilty took notes.
"And that's saying something, cause not only do we not normally agree on anything— but we don't even know what's at the coordinates." Yan also strut over and slinked her arm around the Commander's shoulders.
Rupee suddenly appeared in front of them with her phone out, vlogging the surroundings.
"The blue sky! The bright sun! It's exactly how the books describe them. If we continue on our way, we can get our hands on some high-tech artifacts that have been buried underground for over a century!"
She flipped the camera around and frantically waved, Dolla and Yan casually doing the same.
"I'm not worried, because the most capable and handsome commander, Sweetie here, will protect us!"
The Commander gave a dry thumbs up before Guilty scooped him up and placed him over her shoulder.
"Wait, wait! Give back our hunk! He's the center piece!" Rupee chased after her...

"Nine o'clock." Rapi gestured in the direction of a group of Raptures. The Commander was hanging from a street lamp, observing from higher ground to see which direction they were headed.
"They're kind of moving like ants... They're transporting something." Anis deduced.
"Accurate. Good job, Anis." The Commander nodded with a small smile.
The alluring expression made the CEOs all flinch in shock, but silent regardless of their disbelief. Anis silently relished in what she thought was victory.
"Can anyone see what it is?" The Commander asked, unable to see between the ruins of buildings, only the direction they were headed— so he dropped down.
