The ten members faced a long bridge across a canyon that used to carry freights. It's disheveled state and clear sign of wear from over 20 years of service made everyone wary to cross.

It was clear that not everyone could cross at one time, but Laplace volunteered Matis to go first.

"It's a hero's duty to face danger to help the helpless!" She claimed.

"But the Commander comes with us—" Maxwell tried to bargain, but was cut off with several: "Absolutely Not."

"But... you could attack us while our backs are turned!" Maxwell argued.

"W-We are not cowards." Vesti exclaimed.

"Not you, Vesti, but someone..." Maxwell and everyone else began to look towards Eunhwa, who soon clicked her tongue and turned away.

"With me, Rapi. Move, Matis." The Commander ordered, immediately leaving Drake with a tick mark.

"Do you hear this guy?! Seriously, who is he?!" Drake shouted, chasing after the two with Maxwell and Laplace following behind.

After crossing the bridge, the Commander turned back to see which team would cross next, or if the five would all cross at once, but he suddenly heard cluttering.

A lone rapture leapt out at him, and he was ready to defend himself with sparks dancing from his hand, but Laplace jumped the gun.

"I'll protect you!"

With a single shot, the Rapture went down, but crashed into the bridge behind them— not even a second later the bridge exploded from the recoil, sending the only known passage across down into the crevasse below.

Matis stared solemnly at the remains of the bridge, before quickly erupting into arguing amongst themselves about their image.

The Commander and Rapi glanced at each other, and both held up an 'OK' symbol to Anis and Neon— both of which were staring with hanging jaws.

Suddenly, a bullet flew past the Commander. He and Rapi glanced over to see that Eunhwa began firing after their sudden "betrayal," and Anis and Neon seemed to be ready to join.

The Commander and Rapi continued on the route seeing that even Vesti had just launched a rocket, so Matis all began to scramble after them.

As the Commander and Rapi led the group, Matis was only left to observe their close proximity and behavior.

"Those two seem way to lax for such a serious mission." Maxwell noted.

"They must be good friends!" Laplace replied.

Drake saw the look in Rapi's eye whenever she stole a glance at the Commander. Drake have a doubtful look after hearing "friends"...

Currently, the Commander was watching Syuen and Ingrid argue over the jurisdiction of the mission seeing as both respective parties were involved, but they were doing so in Shifty's small operator room, which was fit for one person (like a cubicle).

The Commander was smiling seeing the carnage, and Shifty was glaring at him for it.

The Commander was leaning against a broken stop sign watching as Rapi and Matis handled the sudden influx of Raptures.

"Yo, Shifty, can you contrast the distribution of Raptures before and after the bridge?" The Commander asked.

He only received the same glare as before.
