"What do you know about Vapaus?" Snow White questioned.
"Removes the NIMPH from a Nikke's brain."
"And what more do you want to know?" She continued.
"How to mass produce it."
"Absolutely not. I gave you that Vapaus because you saved my life. One life, one piece of Vapaus. You and I are square."
The Commander leered defiantly. "More Vapaus saves more lives. That's my only concern. You all know that."
"It's simply avarice to expect anymore from me— I won't fulfill your greed any longer!" Snow White snapped.
"Greed?! How the hell is it greedy to save people?! I don't want anyone to suffer corruption and that's a problem?!" The Commander snapped back.
"Calm down, you two..." Rapunzel meekly butt in.
"Indeed. You mustn't be so impetuous." Scarlet agreed. "Is my Lord truly as crude as you make him out to be? Do we know him as such?"
Snow White clicked her tongue and rolled her eyes.
"And you, my Lord, must explain yourself as clear as possible. Snow White would not become so heated if this wasn't an important delegation to us." Scarlet continued.
The Commander went to speak again, but she lifted his chin with her index finger.
"You must first find answers within yourself before seeking it in others." She whispered. "What you think of the NIMPH is a circumstance only grouped under corruption. Have you ever thought about the positives of the NIMPH?"
"I..." The Commander knew the pros and cons. Regardless of those pros, it was an option. An option they deserved above being subjected to anything they didn't want.
"I know what good the NIMPH is, I know. But should I really not aspire for another option should the need arise? I wouldn't be any better than the tyrants at the Ark if I withheld that knowing I could've done something!"
"Hm... Choice..." Scarlet slowly slinked her fingers to hold his chin softly. "You truly are the best of the bunch."
"If it's between living infinitely through the NIMPH, or saving them from corruption with Vapaus— Everyone deserves a choice. The world I aspire to create is one where Nikkes can decide their own futures. Make their own destinies." He exclaimed with determination.
Snow White's glare slowly softened as she watched his lips tremble. Scarlet removed her hand and pay his shoulder.
He couldn't help but think about the life that was robbed from Marian. One day he wanted to bring her back to a world where she could do whatever she wanted, be who ever she wanted, with no repercussions.
"Fascinating. You do know that if we were Nikkes belonging to the Ark, you'd be accused of subversion and your head would no longer be attached to your shoulders, no?" Scarlet asked.
