The Commander normally wouldn't mind babysitting. He was fine with looking after children, and would commend himself for his patience with them.

Unfortunately, Jackal was not a child.

His patience did not extend to a very capable Nikke.

In the frigid north, The Counters were treading through the cold tundra in search of the Mage's Zone. Due to Syuen's refusal to be excluded from anything, of course there was another team accompanying them.

Team Exotic were on their case, but it didn't seem like they even wanted to be through their dismissive and cold attitude.

Due to the new temperatures, the Commander's clothes had taken a drastic change.

He wore a big, blue puffer coat lined with fur, black cargos, and tan boots with steel toes to help track in the snow.

He couldn't appreciate his new attire with Jackal blowing up random rock formations that she'd come across, with neither Viper nor Crow telling her off.

The Commander was moments away from simply stunning her into submission, but he didn't want to waste any bio-electricity in such a rural environment.

Viper and Crow leered at the Commander from behind him, skeptical of why electricity kept crackling between his fingers.

"I'm in heaven!" With maniacal cackles, Jackal loaded in another rocket to her launcher and aimed at a tree in the distance.

Before she could fire, the Commander appeared in front of her and snatched the weapon out of her hands.

"You've got one more time to waste ammo on your little fetish before the next rocket goes a place even your maker probably hasn't seen." The Commander whispered with venom.

Jackal was stunned into silence from the gaul to talk to her that way. Before she could even retaliate, the Commander shoved her rocket launcher back into her arms with a glare.

"I've no problem sending you back to the Outer Rim in a box. Try me."

He walked away as everyone shuffled past her in silence. She merely stammered on her words, planning to defy him anyway until she remembered what would happen if she were to hinder the mission.

Quietly, she began to follow after the others in annoyance.

"Do we have to work with these terrorists...?" Anis asked the Commander.

"That's a rather loose term." Crow butt in.

"Huh?" Anis glanced back in confusion.

"In the old days, terrorist referred to independent freedom fighters in third-world countries. Now it's used to refer to outlaws who fight for human rights. Those who must resort to violence to reclaim what's been taken from them. Calling those people terrorists is something only those in power—"
