The Commander sat on the top of a stone fountain as the two teams searched the abandoned village designated the Mage's Zone.
So far he had been waiting a brisk twenty minutes with his jacket back on, taking in the scenery of the cottages from a time long before his own.
The atmosphere of the village had been ruined by Raptures and of course time, but he could see past that. Before it, even.
He imagined what life would be like in a quiet village like this. Hunting, gathering, fishing. The kind of life he was fighting to get back.
He was thrown out of his thoughts when Jackal hit him with a snowball.
He slowly peered down at her with a scowl.
"Come on! You and me!" She cheered, hoping he'd take her on.

As the Counters and Exotic reconvened at the fountain, the only thing the found was Jackal in a pile of snow.
Beside her, the Commander tossed up a snowball with a smirk.
Seeing the two teams come back, he flinched and tossed the snowball away. The silence from everyone made him cross his arms as Jackal shook her head of the snow on top.
"You're pathetic." Crow mumbled.
Ignoring the comment, he did notice the map in Viper's hand.

Exotic brought everyone back to a more reinforced cottage than the others with a basement under it. It was a clear hideout of Snow White, evident by the recent food waste and Rapture parts lying around the dust-filled room.
"There's a checkmark on the lighthouse." Neon announced looking at the map they had placed on the table.
"...what does that even mean?" Elegg asked.
"It could be a resource of some kind. Or signifying Nikkes that need to be rescued." Rapi surmised.
"Could it be a trap?" Guilty asked.
"It'd wouldn't be by Raptures. Most sentient one we've seen is Chatterbox. Any other can't even fit through the hatch down here." The Commander replied.
Rapi and Anis slowly began to look at Crow.
"That too." The Commander added with a dry chuckle.
"On what basis do you believe we'd have any reason to—"
"You literally have made only negative comments about the Commander and have loudly voiced your disdain for him. It's not far fetched." Elegg snapped.
"Do the bombs around our necks mean nothing?" Crow continued.
"Well, when Alva Particles are averaging 100%? Yeah, pretty much." Elegg replied.
"We can't even send a distress signal, so why would we ever worry about the remote bombs..." Anis added.
