Just like he imagined

Just like he imagined. Just as he theorized.

He had been cursed, or blessed, depending on who you were.

Rh X blood type, the very blood that created Vapaus, and continues to do so, courses through his veins.

Cecil stared at the Commander after he incinerated the exam results to ash. She had offered to give the exam in order to confirm his suspicions, and sure enough he tested positive for it.

"How are you feeling? About this revelation, I mean." She asked.

"Nothing really. I had a feeling a few weeks ago. Don't really know what to do from here." He replied honestly.

"You understand what this means?" She questioned sternly.

"Yeah. Gotta figure it out before I do anything, I know." He nodded, before glancing at her. "This between us?"

"Of course. I wouldn't want this getting out if I was in your position. Will you tell your team?"

"Someday. I don't know." He didn't seem sure, so Cecil just shrugged and brushed her hair back.

"Well... Good luck."

"I won't need it just yet." He mumbled.

Ingrid slid Andersen a tablet with radar information. Alongside it, was a blurry image of a massive Rapture Aircraft plummeting towards the surface with seemingly three massive wires piercing it.

"A Mother Whale has been taken down... I think our boy is behind it." Ingrid commented.

Andersen hummed seeing the artillery used to take it down. He hadn't expected to see those in commission again after so long, but what intrigued him was why the Commander would go after such a Rapture.

"Just what kinda shit is he up to out there..." Ingrid slid the tablet back to herself with a sigh.

"One less problem off our shoulders at the very least. Has Shifty been able to make contact since he went dark?"

"No. It seems there's a jammer in his location. Maybe that's what he's searching for." Ingrid replied, leaning against his desk.

Andersen wasn't sure what he was up to, but something about it made him anxious. He leant back in his chair and leered at the ceiling.

"Hopefully, he comes back with results."

"He always does." Ingrid shrugged.

The Commander held two bullets in his hand.

Cecil stared at him curiously since it'd been awhile since he'd cracked one of his stupid jokes. She noticed he begun to talk less and less and grow more and more quiet.

She was hoping he wasn't taking too much after Johan.

"How do you feel? These are Vapaus bullets of your creation. You've finally done it." Cecil whispered.
