That night, I had a strange dream. A dream I was honestly surprised I never had one similar yet. Or maybe it wasn't a dream.
Maybe it was them trying to talk to me.
Ash: V! Glad to see you're still doing ok!
V: Huh...? Ash? But you're...
Ash: Ha, don't think too much about it! I've come back to life PLENTY of times.
V: But...you should be...
Ghost: Not obvious yet, mate?
V: Ghost!?
Ghost: You're dreamin'.
V: Right, but...why does it feel so vivid? And doesn't you telling me that I'm dreaming kinda like...go against the rules of dreams?
Rin: I think we should all break some rules from time to time~!
V: Rin...
Rin: Hehe~! That's me alright~! You been holding up fine without me around? I was the sunshine of the group after all!
V: You certainly were...
Rin: "Were", huh...past tense...kinda sad isn't it?
Ryuji: Aw, don't get her all bummed out, Rin.
V: Ryuji too!?
Ryuji: For real!? You didn't think I'd show up!?
V: Nah, I mean...wow...anyway, yeah I guess I've been doing fine, as ok as I can be in this place I guess.
Peach: That's all we ask for, fufu~
V: Princess...
Peach: It truly is a shame we have disappeared from your world...but fear not! We will always be here in spirit.
Velvet: And I've been by your side this entire time.
V: Peach? V-Vel...vet?
I fall to my knees, shaking.
Velvet: Cmon, stand up. You're stronger than this.
V: I know...it's just...
The floodgates opened as I rubbed my eyes, trying my best not to make an audible sobs.
V: I never thought I'd see all of you again...
Gura: I wish it stayed that way honestly...
V: Gura...
The shark girl huffed as she looked me in the eye.
Gura: Don't get me wrong, I'm only here because I HAVE to be.
V: You have to be?
Gura: Yeah...I mean...
Jotaro: Not yet, Gura. It's too early for her to know.
V: Jotaro!
Jotaro: Hello.
V: So...you know what's goin' on here?
Jotaro: We all do. However it's not the time to tell you.
V: And why's that?
Arthur: Simple. You'll find out yourself.
V: A-Arthur...
Arthur: Even after how you were durin' my trial, ya ain't given up yet. That's what I like to see. Real proud of ya, V.
Magilou: Don't get her too emotional now~!
V: Should've known you were gonna show up at some point, haha!
